I took the place beside Dennise outside the ICU. She's leaning sa glass window and looking at my body.
Looking at my body, I asked myself how did I survived that crash.
"Doc, what happened po?" I heard my mom asked the doctor who came out sa ICU. Den made here way to them.
"A dump truck plowed it's way on Alyssa's lane. Nawalan daw ng preno ang truck. Luckily, Alyssa's not speeding kaya it kind of soften the blow for her. If she was, she wouldn't survive it." Sabi nung doctor.
"Wait, is it your wedding day?" Tanong nung guy sakin.
"Yes. Apparently."
"Kid, change your clothes first."
"How??"
"Think."
"What do you mean think?! Like think na I need other clothes than this humongous gown? It doesn't work that way!"
"You should try something first before ka mag ngangawa. Look at yourself!"
Nakita ko naman na I'm wearing jeans and shirt na lang.
"I'm sorry. This is all new to me. Sorry for yelling" i said.
"It's okay. Anyway. I can help you, okay?"
"How? Pababalikin mo na ko sa body ko?"
"Doesn't work that way. Ganito kasi yan. Think of the exoskeleton as robots. Without power or command, lata lang sila. But given the power and command, they'll do anything you want to do."
"Ha? Can you explain it a little more?"
"Tsk. Okay ganito. Human body doesn't work without their soul. Get's mo na?"
"Okay. So how can I get back?"
"I don't know yung exact explanation about this eh. Pero I think, you'll get back kapag the big boss allowed you to do so."
"You mean, God?"
"Of course God!"
"Okay, okay! Can you teach me yung way kung pano ko sila makaka usap?"
