Crowds of girls and boys from New Orleans flood the outside of our tour bus. As Scott and I get in the bus together, along side with Kirstie, and Avi. Kevin was still autographing a girl's t-shirt.
"These fans are crazy!" Kirstie moves her hair to the side, closing the mini curtains back.
"Just wait until we get to Amsterdam. That's when chiz gets real." I say.
"True. So... how would you all rate our performance?" She asks.
"8." I answer.
"10." Scott answers.
"I wasn't feeling it. I mean- our singing was off key, and Kirstie; I heard your voice crack atleast twice." He lists.
"Thanks for the appreciation Avi." I say sarcastically.
"I'm just stating the fact." he flips his hands in the air.
We drive off, escaping the screaming teenagers and thier wild gestures.
Scott leaned back, playing 'Don't tap the white tiles' all the time our group was having a conversation.
"Highscore?" I interrupt him, Scott missing a tile.
"Really Mitch! You butt hole!" he shoves me lightly.
"No really- what's your high score. I bet I can beat it any day." I say smiling.
"446." he replies. "Oh! I need to show you this Song, it's so good."
Scott lightly puts the ear bud in my ear.
'All I want' comes through the ear bud.
"This song is really good. Kodaline?" I guess.
"Yeah. There is this little duet competition they are having in October, and I was thinking we could do this Song. Its a cool vibe- not too low, great harmonizing." He says turning off the music.
"Great. Can't-" My phone buzzed in my pocket.
I go into the bathroom, and answer the call.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Mitch!" a woman screams.
"Who is this?"
"Remember Amber Scotlandson? New Jersey?" She squeals.
"Ah. Amber! How are you?"
"Not doing well. You see, I have one day to submit my wish to the Grant a wish Foundation. and I would love for you to come and sing 'Shake it off' for me. Will you?"
"Of course. Amber... you are a total gift! When do you want to meet up?"
"Tommorow?" she asks.
"Sure. I'll be there." I smiled. "Got to go Amber. Thanks for calling."
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!" I hold the phone off my ear.
I hung up.
Amber was a girl I had met years ago, but soon afterwards she had gotten Cancer. So she had to miss one of our PTX concerts early on due to how weak she was. When I first met Amber, she was like a porcelain doll. Her face was dolled up, her outfit was untouchable, and her smile was just always shining.
That taught me how life can just go down the drain in a blink of an eye.

I crack my eyes to Scott dancing in his jeans listening to All I want. I stared at his back for a couple minutes, looking at His hips move.
"This song is like my drug!" Scott shouts.
I nod, getting up from my bed.
No, Scott and I didn't ever sleep in the same bed together. We barely even touch each other below the equator.
I glance at my phone, looking at the time; 7:00 AM. too early for me.
"Starbucks run!" I slid into my slippers.
"Wait. In your pajamas?" Scott pauses.
"A man gotta do what a man gotta do." I push my sunglasses on.
Starbucks was luckily built into the hotel we were staying in, but except outside.
"Two Caramel Cappuccinos." I pay the lady the cash.
A person bumps into my shoulder.
"Hey watch-" Travis stood before me, smiling.
"Mitch?" Travis hugs me immediately.
"Um. Hey." I say awkwardly.
"Don't act like you don't know me!" We both sat down at a table.
"What have you been up to?" he asks.
"Touring around this place we call a world." I reply.
"That's good. I have great news." he smiles.
Oh dear Lord, he better not be talking about us again. I thought.
"My boyfriend and I are adopting!" He says.
"Congrats. I love that idea. I really do." I smirk. "I have to go. Meeting up with a fan this morning. See you later?"
"Yeah." we shook hands.
