Chapter 4

It was Monday morning, which meant that I had to go to school. So I did. I went to school, avoided all my friends and teachers.
But as I was walking down the hallway I bumped into this guy. My books scattered across the school hallway. "I'm so sorry. Let me help you with that." His voice mesmerized me. We stared at each other for about 2 minutes straight. He had a pale complexion and silver eyes, exactly like me. Except he had dark black hair and didn't look as dead as I was. Eventually the school bell rang and brought us out of the trans that we were in he helped me pick up my scattered school books.
"Hey, umm... I'm Sebastian. But you can call me Seb for short. Maybe sometime we could hang out?"
He asked with a nervous smile.
"I'm Kasandria and you can call me Kass for short. But umm... I'm actually going through a lot right now so maybe we could do this whole get to know each other at a different time." I replied hesitantly.
"Or maybe we could talk about it at my house after school?" He said hopping that I would just give in.
"You just won't give up will you? Alright fine but not at your house. We should go somewhere else."
"Ok what about at Lake Lila?"
Lake Lila was the place that Mark died. What if the same thing happens to him? "Ok yeah, sure." I said with absolute stupidity.
We went our separate ways until the school bell rang and I waited for him outside the school entrance.
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, come on let's start walking."
