"Renegade! Renegade! Ari, Come on the dance steps are easy! Hindi mo ba kaya?" A girl shouted in the very front of me.
I entered the room, politely. Chin up, polite, smart, and smiling widely. Like my mom told me.
They where shocked to see me with Ms. Charlotte, supposed to be our homeroom teacher i guess. Some of them are dancing, playing, and one boy is brushing his teeth in the sink. Anong nigagawa nung isang yon?
The young maiden got stiffed besided me and immediately slam the door for them to know we're already in the front of the class. "For Mr. Bean's sake, what are you waiting for? Orchids?" Agad silang nagsi-upo.
"Miss Dé Aflor?" Ms. Charlotte pat my shoulders.
"ehem. Splendid morning everyone, I'm Calista Kristelle Dé Aflor from University of Sydney, in Australia. I'm glad to be one of your classmate y'all."
I'm half Filipino and half Australian. My father is the owner of the a huge company here in the Philippines. That's all i know about him, because I'm a Australian citizen and the last time I met him, when i was just five years old. Mom don't tell me much about my dad.
"Kristelle can bearly speak tagalog, I'll assign two students to help her." Then she pointed two girls to guide me.
Ms. Charlotte told me many things, but all i remember is the library. I'm too lazy to listen.
"Okay then, Welcome to University of Santo Tomas Ms. Dé Aflor."
Nung ako'y tumulikod kay Ms. Charlotte at humarap sa kanila, I got shivers. They're all looking at me, so i moved my head like a cat that's confused
"She looks familiar, noh?" The long haired girl said. "Yeah! But she looks better than Liza Soberano. Just look at her tip of her nose, I'm so inget!!" Then ako'y agad na nilang pinagkaguluhan.
"Ahh! Kristelle you're so gorgeous. Para kang hulog ng langit!"
"Dzuh she's not pure Filipino like us, I bet laging yang nakikipag one night stand just look at her! Mukang laspag na laspag na!"
I got confused, I don't understand it clearly.
"Oh my God look who's talking!!"
"so you're twins, Leslie?"
"Stop it, Don't tear other women down, because even if they're not your friends, they are women and this is just as important, Leslie." A girl in a varsity jacket stood up.
"You can't just judge a book by its cover." A appled cut haired girl stand out over that girl.
Parang ma-eexplode na ung brain ko. I can't understand what are they fighting for. The girl in the varsity jacket held my hand and start talking.
"I'm Mia." And the appled cut haired girl appeared. "I'm Arilyn, Ari for short."
"Oh you two, Kayo ung nag-dadance a while a ago? In the front of the class?"I replied. They laughed hard and answered me. "You saw that huh?"
I smiled sweetly.
"Uhm what's up with the disaster kanina? I can't understand much, sorry." Ani ko.
"Oh, The bitch is just vibin'. Don't mind her." And looked at Ari. "She's just talking nonsense, Kris. Mia's right wag mo nang pansinin."
A bunch of UST students starred at me like parang now lang nakakita ng tao. "She's one of a kind, she looks like an angel." Ani ni ng isang babaeng nadaanan namin "Ikr, and ako na man na mukang ligaw na kabayo." another girl replied
"I feel you." And started hugging each other.
"Come with us hurry papakita kami!!" And nagsimula silang pag aagawan, my arms are stretched like a rubber band. Huhu joke
"From this day forward we're the best of friends, okay? Pag may humilay tatagaan ng kamay! HAHAHA." Mia and Ari said
And that's how my school life started. Am I goin' to handle this? Oh God please guide me always, I'm begging you. Mia and Ari started dragging me to unknown places. Nasa University pa ba us?
