I wake up startled my alarm screaming at me to get up. I hit the off button and turn on my light. I sit there for a moment, thinking about what had happened in my dream... Leaving Mauris like that made me feel in justice. had happened to him? Couldn't I had just stayed? Once again I was a failure. I slide out of bed and get ready. Later I head downstairs, I see my parents are already watching T.V. I walk into the kitchen and Open the fridge grabbing food.

I eat my breakfast while watching the news before heading upstairs to my room. I tie my hair into a small ponytail and put on my school uniform. Unlike other schools our school has a uniform. Not that I mind. It included a blue long sleeved dress shirt, and black dress pants. Along with black tenni shoes. I grab my backpack and head downstairs. I would try my best to write down notes for math class, and pay attention. I see my father by the door putting his coat on.

"Hey sweetie, you have a good day." He smiles.

"You too." I say smiling.

I walk outside and onto the sidewalk. At this hour the street lamps were all on. I enjoyed walking to school at this hour. It was quiet and dark and no one was usually out at this time. I walk into town past all the little shops and their signs hidden in the darkness.

Only the lighter shade of blue in the sky could be seen indicating that sunrise would soon happen. Off in the distance I could see the edge of the school building. A few kids were walking towards the school as well, or sitting by stores talking. And only one store was always open. The store called Mr.Goods, lots of students would go in and buy things, and after school as well. Mr.Good, the owner, gets the most money compared to all the other shops since no one really buys things when its colder.

I walk silently towards the school, the sky was a dark shade of pink now. I stop in front of the school. Its brick walls reaching two stories. Kids sat on the steps, talking. At this school mostly everyone had a group that varied of two, all the way to eight. No one here usually talked to me. Their families tended to have lots of money since this was not school of choice. I quickly go up the stairs and open the doors. I had memorized areas where bullies hung out, so I tended to avoid these areas. I found that out the hard way last year,

when I was a freshman. But this year my classes were easier to get to. Closer together than last year. Thankfully I had science class first so I walked down the long hallway and down the stairs.

My footsteps echoed off the walls as I neared my class. My mind starts to drift back to the dream realm. I could now recall the whole thing, and I don't think it was just a dream. It was intense, and realistic. But... I had failed, I left Mauris to fend for himself. Was he the dreamer for that dream? No one else had seemed as awake. Maybe I could go back and help him somehow. Maybe, there could be a way back.

I open the door to my class and walk inside taking my seat in the front row. Which was the best move, considering kids in the back always messed around and threw erasers and pieces of paper. The teacher would then accuse the whole row. Only one other kid was in here and they looked to be doing some work. They had light brown hair and blue eyes, I usually see them in here early. The teacher was just scrolling on their computer. Nothing was set out so it appeared we would just be taking notes.

The rest of the day went on as usual. Science, English, History, Lunch, Art, P.E, and math... The class I wasn't looking forward to. When I get to my last class I choose to sit in the middle row of seats.

I sit down quietly and take out my things. I remember the talk I had with my parents about the test I had failed. I ask her about making it up? Soon a few students made it in just as the bell rang. The rest of the hour was normal, notes, and reading.

Then finally the bell rang and everyone scrambled to leave. I dumped my things into my bag and basically ran out the door. Now I could go home and talk to Snowy and the others. Walking out of the school I go towards my house, I wonder what Snowy would say about all this? Or should I even tell her? She is my best friend after all, so I should tell her anyways.
