you and Nick have made it back to your house and you are cleaning the blood off your katana
"so you're a Grimm," Nick remarks
"yes and I thought I was the only Grimm until you got your ass kicked by a Blutbad" you retort
You wipe the blade with a cloth
"Anyway what are we going to do now that you know my secret?" you ask because you need to know
"nothing, in fact, I would help you," he says
"more like I'll help you," you say referring to the fact you saved him from a Blutbad
"and the bathroom is just down the hall and to the right,"
"what about you?" he asks
"I'm cleaning up in the ensuite" you retort as you place the katana on a display rack and turn on some classical music
"I hope you don't mind classical"
"that's fine"
thirty seconds later you are cleaning up and you are almost done but you are interrupted because the music has stopped. You also hear a loud crash
"Nick are you alright" you call out as you abandon your cleaning and run to the normal bathroom. You find Nick semi-conscious.
"Nick, can you hear me?" you ask because you can see he is semi-conscious
"behind you," he manages to say before you are attacked by a Hundjäger
You quickly get up and make a run for your small sword collection but he grabs your arm before you can do anything.
"stop let me go," you say as you kick him in the groyne causing him to let go of your arm
You see your gun so you grab it and shoot the Hundjäger three times. He falls to the ground dead so you go back to check on Nick who has fallen entirely unconscious. You pull his mobile phone out of his pocket and dial 911 because it's more convenient than your phone.
"this is Detective (Y/L/N) there has been a break and enter the perp was killed and I need an ambulance at my house," you say as you make sure Nick will be fine

thirty minutes later you are in the hospital room with Nick. You are thinking of the reason why a Hundjäger would be after you and Nick and why it didn't just kill you both. You are interrupted
"how is he and who are you," Nick's friend Monroe asks
"he is going to be fine and my name is (Y/N), Nick's police partner," you reply
"nice to meet you (Y/N), my name is Monroe do you know what he was attacked by?" he asks
"yes but you won't believe me," you say thinking Monroe doesn't know about the Wesen and Grimms
"I know about that stuff," he says as he changes
"before you ask it's complicated," he changes back
"ok, we were attacked by a Hundjäger but I don't know why," you say
"but what I do know is the fact that he used Nick to get to me,"
your phone rings, it's captain Renard. You answer
"yes," you reply
"can you get down to the precinct right now?" he asks over the phone
"why?" you ask with your suspicion raised
"someone is asking for you and he says it's important and he's Brittish," he says
"oh ok, I'll be there as soon as possible I've just got to deal with one last thing," you say knowing who this man might be.
You hang up and then you turn to face Monroe
"Sorry Monroe but I have to be somewhere," you say as you leave
