briar POV
I have been at CDC for about 2 months now and surprisingly nothing that awkward has happened between Myles and I. today was the CDC Christmas party and I was getting ready, I put on the long blue silk dress jessie, abbey and I went and picked out the other day. I put on some natural make up, I didn't want to go too over the top.
Jessie POV
I arrive at briars door and im a ready to go, briar opens the door "wow briar you look way prettier in the dress in person than the dress did on a hanger at the shop "thanks jessie" "ready to go?" "yeah"
we arrive at the party and then I notice briar starring at myles so I decided to flick her, soon after that briar snapped out of it " briar you were starring again" I said with a slight laugh in my voice.
briar POV
I need to seriously stop starring all the time, the party had started and there were Christmas songs playing, I then had a thought that, well I have had a crush on myles for quite a while I may as well just ask him out and if he says no its not the end of the world, right? "hey jessie, I got to tell you something!" "yeah" "I think I'm going to ask myles out!" I say to jessie but jessie has a concerned look on her face "briar you may want to turn around," and with my surprise I saw myles kissing sarah! I wanted to run out crying but that would look so unprofessional so I just walked to the bathroom and just thought to myself,
why didn't jessie tell me this, or myles, I could have moved on and didn't have to whiteness that horrible sight, well I guess I just have to move on... so that's what I did , at least I tried. I walked back into the party as if nothing has happened and just spent the whole night with a fake smile, I wanted to cry so bad but I knew if did everyone would ask me if I was ok and what's wrong, I'm not ready to tell anyone, neither shall jessie!
