I woke up to the most annoying sound ever. A ticking. And I just wanted it to shut up so I could go back to sleep. Why was it so loud?

I slowly sat up, and looked around. Where am I?

I heard the ticking again. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. It's so annoying.

I followed the sound with my ears and saw a clock. It's going down.

I steadily got up and walked over to it. It got louder the closer I got. I picked it up and held it in my hand. I looked for an off switch, but the next thing I knew I was holding a broken clock.

I gaped at it for a few seconds, before I heard some shuffling outside the door. Now that I think about it, seriously, where the fuck am I?

The door opened and a tall redhead walked in. He looked familiar.

He smiled widely at me before speaking. "Morning, Harry. How did you sleep last night?"

I hesitated for a second before answering. "Um... good?"

Is that my voice? When did it get so deep and smooth?!

I looked up at the redhead again, probably looking just as surprised as I felt. "Where am I? Who are you?"

He smirked at me. And then every thing clicked into place. I'm a vampire.

He let out a bark of laughter. "God your face man. It is so hilarious." He laughed a bit more before it dissolved into chuckles. "Sorry, but you're reaction was a bit funny."

I smiled at him. "Thanks for the sympathy, man." I snarked back sarcastically. "You're a true friend." I finished of with a wink.

He smirked at me. It dropped quickly when he looked at me in confusion and surprise. "I am kinda worried that you have not asked for blood yet, but also relived that you have not attacked me. Are you not hungry?"

Now that I think about it, I am a bit hungry. I nodded my head and shrugged. "Yeah, a little. Dunno, I didn't really pay much attention to it."

His eyebrows scrunched together in thought. "Huh, that has never really happened before." He whispered quietly.

Having a good sense of hearing had it's advantages. "What's never happened before?" I mocked him by whispering back.

He was clearly amused because he let out a soft chuckle while shaking his head. He gestured in my direction. "This. Usually the new Vampires would do ANYTHING for blood, anything." He said with a small frown. "I am proud to know that I chose you as my first time at changing someone." He said with a sure nod. "Clearly you are not bloodthirsty, like most of our kind are. I chose well." He said with a smirk.

I smiled at him. "I guess you did, because I don't feel like attacking you. But if you want me to..." I said the last part with a smirk.

He let out a snort while shaking his head. "You are a really funny guy, Harry. But I think it is time we go and get you something to eat. You know, before you really attack." And with that said he ran out the door, leaving me alone in the sunlit room.

I smiled. Today's gonna be a good day. We'll see. I was also out the room, leaving nothing behind but the once ticking clock.
