Sunday Afternoon
Brandon's pov
I am waking up on the couch. My eyes are red from all of the crying that I've been doing. I sat up and ran my hands over my face. I got up and headed to the bathroom. As I passed Bethany's room I heard the faint sound of crying. I tapped on the door and it got quiet.
"Come in" I hear her say quietly.
I opened the door when she saw that it was me she looked down. I shut the door behind me and sat in her computer chair.
"Can we talk?" I ask her
"Why? I mean I ruined everything" she says
"Bethany I know what happened at the mall" I say as she looks at the tv.
"Bethany I love you and I'm not going to be with Samantha if she wants to hurt you she's gonna have to go through me." I tell her and she looked at me with sad dull grey eyes.
"Bran-don I'm so sorry and I know that you probably don't want to be with me anymore and I do-" I cut her off by pressing my lips to hers. She kissed me back and locked her fingers around the back of my neck.
I pulled away and looked at her. I gave her a small smile and she returned it.
"I am Brandon" she's so cute
"You're so adorable and would you do me the honor by going out with me tonight?" I ask her
"I would love to go out with you tonight Brandon" she tells me as I smiled down at her.
I got up and laid next to her and we watched tv. No one's here and it's just the two of us.
Later That Day
Bethany's pov
I am just now getting done getting dressed for my date with Brandon in five minutes. I looked myself over in the mirror.
I heard a knock at the front door. I walked out of my room down the hall and around the corner. I opened the door to see Brandon wearing-
*a pair of denim ripped skinny jeans with a blue t-shirt and a white zip up hoodie. He has his white high top vans on.
"Well hello beautiful" he says asking for my hand.
I gave him my hand and we left.
"So handsome where are we going?" I ask him
"That my lovely is a surprise" he tells me as we turn the corner.
"Brandon I feel really bad about yesterday" I say
"I'm sorry for dropping you at the skating rink." He says while lacing his fingers through mine. I looked down at our hands and smiled.
"So it's our first official date what do you think?" He asks me
"I think it's great Brandon" I say as we stop at the front gate of the carnival. My eyes lit up and I looked at him.
"Surprise Bethany" he says holding his hands in the air. I giggled and pecked his cheek.
We walked inside and paid.
"So what do you wanna do first beautiful?" He asks me
"Ooe let's play the balloon game." I say bouncing on my toes.
"Step up and win a giant stuffed dalphin" the man says.
Brandon took the five darts and began to pop the balloons and on the last one he almost missed it and got it.
"Here you go young man" he says handing the dalphin to Brandon which he gave to me.
"Awe why thank you" i say giggling
"Your welcome" he says putting his arm around my waist.
11 pm.
Brandon's pov
We are still at the carnival and there is just one more thing that we have to do.
"Would you like to ride the Ferris wheel with me?" I ask her. Her eyes changed to fear.
"Brandon I'm afraid of heights" she tells me
"I've got you I'm gonna be with you the entire time" I say as she looks up at it.
"Okay." She says and we get in line. As we wait in line I pulled my phone out and took a picture of us.
We were next and I let Bethany sit on the inside. I wrapped my arm around her and she had her eyes shut. We began to rise up and I laced my fingers through hers.
"Bethany you're okay just look at me" I tell her as we reached the top she looked at me.
"Bethany I have something to ask you" i say nervously scractching the back of my neck.
"Yes Brandon?" She says looking at me.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask her as her eyes lit up.
"Yes" was all she said while pressing her lips to mine. I smiled and we came to a stop and they opened the latch.
We got out and headed to the cotton candy stand.
"What would you like?" I ask her
"Blue" she says looking at it.
"One blue and one pink please" i say as they hand us what we asked for.
"Thank you" we say together and the lady smiled and nodded at us.
"So did you plan that whole thing on the Ferris wheel?" She asks me
"Maybe you'll never know. We have to get going we have school tomorrow." I say as we walk through the gate.
"I had so much fun Brandon" Bethany says walking in front of me but backwards.
"So did I baby" I tell her
"You called me baby" she says hugging her dalphin.
"Of course I did your mine" i say grabbing her hand and spinning her around while she giggled. When she faced me I crashed my lips to hers and her arms instantly wrapped around my neck. Mine around her waist.
I slid my tongue across her bottom lip. She granted me access. As the kiss deepened I felt my entire body tingle and a shock run up my spine as butterflies filled my stomach. I pulled away and looked down at her.
"Bethany" I say breathlessly
"Yes Brandon" She says
"I love you" i say
"I love you too" she says smiling
