becoming a legend

episode 1: prologue - meeting Oracle and Fire

"Guardian, you need to run! Go!" said a Ghost named 'Little Light' to his guardian, before they realised they were surrounded and unable to transmat out of there. The fallen closed in from every side, lead by a distant relative of Skolas (one of the previous fallen kells) the guardian, a hunter nicknamed 'Quicksilver' was seperated from his fireteam and trapped, he knew he only had 2 options; give up or fight to the very end. Quicksilver, or Quick for short would gladly die fighting for humanity, so at that moment, he raised his khvostov 7G-0X assault rifle and began shooting some of the enemies in front of him as he tried to move to some cover.

After a while Quick was running out of energy, he could not use his shadowshot bow, he had no grenades left and barely any ammo left, he had killed a lot of the fallen around him but the captain leading all of this, named Taniks, descendant of Skolas (after Taniks the scarred) would stop at nothing to kill Quick and Little Light. At that moment Quicksilver jump-kicked Taniks, descendant of Skolas in the chest, which knocked Taniks over, then ran with Little Light close behind him. The 2 made it out barely alive, but they completed their task. Quick's other fireteam member, who was his brother, had infact been reported dead after his ghost managed to send a message to Commander Zavala back at the tower before it was shot, with Quick's brother having no ghost, he also had no light which made him easy pickings for the fallen who are known to prey on lightless guardians.

Quicksilver was told of his brother's death and given a candle to place at the Shrine of The Lost. The Shrine was a place where the closest person to the deceased guardian would place a candle, every candle there represented a guardian or another heroic person such as an iron lord or one of takanome's rangers, and now Quick's brother would join them.

3 MONTHS LATER
Quicksilver, now a recognised and well respected hunter amongst the guardian ranks, was stopping by at the tower when he saw 2 guardians (a titan and a warlock) putting up a flyer saying they were looking for a good hunter to join their fireteam. Quicksilver saw this as an opportunity, so he walked over to the 2 guardians and said "so then, you're looking for a hunter?" He said, knowing that he was probably fairly high on their list of hunters they wanted, due to the fact that he was a well known master in the crucible, not to mention his insane feats against the darkness. He was surprised as to how excited the titan in the group was to be meeting him. The warlock then explained his companion's excitement by saying "dont question the excitement, shes fairly new to the whole guardian thing, you can call me the Oracle, and this over excited titan's codename is Firewall but we all call her Fire for short" the warlock, now to be reffered to as Oracle explained. The group (Quick, Oracle and Fire) got on really well and from this point on they were officially a fireteam.
