Kentrell carried me out into the hallway as Quando ran over to us.

Quando: What happened?

Kentrell: Joe and London together and Her and London was finna fight then London fell on Layla and Joe and Tae started fighting.

He walked into the classroom and we started hearing yelling. I walked back into the classroom.

Tae: Where She At?

Starr: She ran out.

I looked over at Joe and Quando fussing.

I pulled him and we walked to our cars.

I shook my head. I just want my bed. I walked in the door and saw a note from mom.

Dad have been locked up. He did something bad and he's very sorry for it. It was gang related. He killed a gang leader and they're after me. I have to go. They don't know about y'all. Be careful.

I sent it as London walked in my room.

She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. I watched London walked out the door and she gave me the finger before she left.
