Chapter 1

Danielle and Tori are best friends since elementary school, what happens when unexpected guests arrive at Tori's house? What will the girls do?

It's the beginning of summer vacation and my friend Danielle, or Dani, haven't planned or done anything really special. I went on vacation but she didn't come since it was just my family. Anyway let me tell you about me, and then I'll tell you about Dani.

My name is Victoria, my friends call me Tori but I like both. I'm 17 and I live in New York. I just finished 11th grade and I have an older and younger brother, they are 23 and 15. I have wavy dark brown hair and blue eyes. Now let me tell you about my best friend. 

Her name is Danielle and we are like sisters. We've known each other since we were 7 and we live on the same block but on opposite ends. She's 18 since she has an early birthday and she has an older brother and younger sister, they are

23 and 14. Our siblings are friends as well. Our brothers are best friends too.

I walked downstairs to see my dad drinking coffee and reading the newspaper and my mom reading a book with a cup of tea.

"Morning" I said.

"Morning darling." my mom replied.

"Morning" my dad said not looking up from his newspaper.

I fixed myself a cup of tea and headed back to my room to get dressed and text Dani. I got dressed in some shorts and a batman t-shirt and my converse. I didn't feel like putting any makeup on because it was just a lazy day.

I texted Dani after getting dressed. I laughed at the name she put in my phone.

Hey gurliee wanna head out for breakfast? I’m too lazy to make it myself lol :P

From: The Amazing Dani<3<3

Sure meet me outside mi house in 10 mins :)

I sent her back an 'okay' and grabbed my keys and bag. I made sure I had money and walked downstairs.

"Bye Mom, Bye Dad, I'm going out with Danielle!" I yelled to my parents.

"Okay Honey, just be careful okay?!" my mom replied. She is really worried and paranoid for an unknown reason so she always tells me to be careful. I guess it's just a mom thing, I dunno. I yelled back an okay and walked to my car. I have a big car it seats 7 people. My mom didn't want me to have a small car because she thought a bigger one would be safer, hey I'm not complaining I love my car!

I drove to Danielle's house putting the radio on, when I got there I honked the horn. I heard Dani yell a 'Bye Mom!' before shutting her front door and jogging to my car.

"Hey!" I said to her. I was just on vacation with my family to California so I haven't seen her for a week.

“Hey!! I haven't seen you in forever!" Dani said giving me a hug. I started driving already knowing where we were going to eat. We always go to a little restaurant because they have the best food.

"I know! I missed you and I brought you presents!" I said while reaching in my bag and pulling out a little wrapped box and handed it to her.

"Tori!! Why did you buy me something?! I don't need anything!" she said with a big smile on her face.

She opened the box and she gasped. "This must've cost a fortune! I'm going to kill you!" I chuckled and said "don't worry about it!" I had got her a silver heart necklace with little diamonds on one edge. The necklace said 'Best friends from Tori' engraved on the back. She put it on and said "it's beautiful thank you so much!"
