Next day evening at Mehta mansion

            Neela was busy in cooking, mom do you need any help she heard Avni asking to which she replied prepare a sweet of your choice to which she nodded quickly & started preparing. Once they prepared all items Neela let out a sigh in relief. Avni just go & get ready as they would be arriving any moment saying her mother retired to her room. They all were waiting for the guests in the living room, dad & mom this Saturday we (Sanaya, Mohit & Tushar) planned a road trip so will that be okay if I go Avni asked to which her dad replied yeah princess why not but please drive safely to which she replied yeah okay & thanks dad..

Neil's PoV

          Since morning I was hell tried coz of back to back meetings while my dad was busy in some other project. We both (me & dad) reached home & saw my mom waiting for us all dressed up, then reality struck me oh no! Ashish uncle has invited us for the dinner & I can't back off in the last minute. I retired to my room for freshening up & came downstairs after 15 minutes. We drove off to Mehta mansion & reached after an hour, soon we were welcomed by them & made ourselves comfortable on sofa in the living room. While we were discussing some random things, Avni's phone started ringing & she excused herself before taking the call, we continued talking but we heard her yelling on call & she joined us after 20 minutes.

I heard Ashish uncle asking her about the call to which she replied it's not that important dad just let it go, but my dad insisted her to tell the problem so that we can help her if she needed to which she smiled before telling...

Uhmmm actually uncle I declined one music company's offer coz I didn't like the clauses mentioned in that & their manager was calling me since then. I tried to explain them very politely but today I couldn't control my anger as he was threatening me by taking my family's name so I bursted out on him.... I heard her saying

Hmmmm don't worry beta me & your father will take care if this.... my father assured her

Uncle if it's about my career I wouldn't have paid any heed but it's about my family & I can't take any risk.... I heard her saying, I was shocked would be an understatement I can understand family is first priority but even career is also important we can't take risk about that as well...

Princess nothing will happen to us nor it will effect ur career just trust us.... her father assured to which she replied okay dad.

        Later we've been called for dinner & all the three ladies( my mom, Neela Aunty & Avni ) served dinner & we've started eating. I could see Avni how pissed off she was due to that call but still she managed to smile, I liked all the dishes especially paneer which is my fav. Later sweet dish( kheer) was served to us which was awesome I was about to compliment Neela aunty for this dish but my mom spoke.....Neela kheer is awesome, I haven't ate such a delicious Kheer nor I've made. Please give me recipe afterwards... I heard my mom say, So Shweta in this case you should ask recipe from Avni coz she is the one who prepared this.... I heard Neela aunty say. This was the second shock she gave me today, she is behaving like a normal girl (she is not like other girls my dad words kept ringing in my mind) May be my dad is right.....

So Avni beta you remember your promise right I heard my dad asking to which she replied yes uncle before getting up. After 5 minutes she came back with her guitar & made herself comfortable on chair which was opposite to me. She was about to start my mom's voice interrupted her, beta if you don't mind can you sing "lag jaa gale" this is one of Prakash & my favourite song to which she replied yeah sure aunty, arey beta sing any song I heard my dad say to which she replied it's okay uncle no problem... she is having one song in her mind but wen my mom asked she agreed to sing diff song.. this was the third shock she gave me...god! Being a celebrity she doesn't have that pride, she doesn't show off I mean she is proving my perception wrong towards the girls. I came out of trance when I heard her singing....

  Probably this was the first time I heard her singing with at most concentration I must admit her voice was so soothing,even if you don't understand the song you can feel it through her expressions & her voice. May be this is the first I'm admiring a female singer, well she deserves that. I was a huge fan of singing since childhood & even I tried my hands on that but one incident changed my life completely!!Wow Avni you sung really well I heard my mom complementing her that is when I came out of my trance. Shweta she is a singer & it's quiet obvio to sing well I heard my dad say to which my mom smiled.... thank you so much aunty & uncle I heard Avni say....

Ashish let us plan a picnic this weekend I heard my dad saying to which uncle replied no Prakash it's not possible this weekend as Avni is going on a road trip with her friends... sorry may be will plan it some other time, it's okay no problem Ashish I heard my dad say. After that we talked about an hour or so, it's really getting late I think we should leave I heard my mom saying in return they smiled before saying okay. We're about to leave that's wen it's started raining heavily, it will be very difficult to drive in this weather Prakash why don't you people stay back here I heard uncle saying to which my dad replied okay I think you're right Ashish. Well you people don't have any problem right my mom spoke to which Avni replied aunty why we will have problem with our family infact we feel happy, yes Shweta Avni is right we've always thought you people as our family I heard aunty say to which my mom hugged Neela aunty & Avni lovingly. This was the fourth shock she(Avni) gave me mentioning us as our family.... god my poor heart cannot take these many shocks at a time...

                  Soon we've been retired to our rooms,my mom & dad were given a room downstairs which was opposite to uncle & aunty's room, whereas mine was upstairs which was opposite to Avni's room. I was tossing on my bed, I couldn't sleep so I decided to step out then I remembered that we are staying at Mehta's, so just thought of having some water. I was about to walk downstairs then I heard a sound coming from terrace, so I just climbed the stairs and saw Avni playing the guitar. I thought of going back to my room but decided against it & took steps towards her.....

I was just going to have some water but I heard a sound coming from terrace, so climbed up to check...

Yeah.. I mean it's new place so it takes some time.

Naah it's nothing like that, I'm fine & by the way thanks for asking me..
