She's late. I had only sent her to question the questionable reaper yet the chainsaws roar in the next alley said otherwise.

The late nights in London were becoming more frequent. The mysterious deaths, children missing, and the queens guard dog. They never stop and never will but they have been increasing lately, never a good sign, for others. These crimes are becoming helpful but every time we get close, the dog always beats us to the mark, but today it seems we stand on a different pedestal.

The 'questioning' was simple really and didn't take long but today the reaper is looking for fun I suppose. Damned feline can't do what I asked of her. It was to be a quiet investigation as to not attract attention but in urban London, nobody is taking note of the chaos. An odd thing but helpful. These late night encouraging were getting oddly easy as well, a worrisome matter.

Anyways, I was getting tired quickly and my patience is at it's end. Truly a long time for three simple names, and so the reaper must be staling precious time I do not have. I took one step forward and slightly opened my mouth before a gloved hand muffled my order.

"Milady, I suggest you wait 2 minutes before calling any orders." The owner of the hand said sweetly, smirk evident in his tone.

Great, look who we have... Um who? Well it's not of importance, what matters is removing this filth from my lips. I open my mouth ready to bite him when he removes the glove and steps back, allowing me freedom to move.

Taking advantage of my situation I quickly turn on my heel to find, a wall. No one was present and it was only the rodents and me. I wasn't anticipating such a quick escape before Paulina, the red..... Female? Male? As of now it is unknown, and a butler clad in raven black. As they landed a few feet away from me, they assume fighting stance and continue on with their business. I begin walking away from them, knowing how dangerous a fight between two demons and a reaper will be and the destruction. I was headed to the alley in which they came from, the stench even worse than the previous one. Where could it be coming from? Well after a few steps in, the red clad corpse on the floor laying next to a boy might be our answer.

The boy looked up alarmed by the clack of my heels against the bloody pavement. The horror evident in his blue eye, sweat trickling from every hair as if it was the middle of July, confusion written on his face of my presence. I had no idea what to do nor who he was but he looked vulnerable for sure. Me? Well I was only staring at the duo, no life in my eyes, as I always do.

No words were exchanges for the last few seconds before Paulina had appeared next to me and taking me back to the estate.

"Miss, there were no names of a female named Victoria. Tonight's search was fruitless." Paulina, my maid, had reported, exactly like every other attempt to find her. To find the true Victoria Rosella.
