The Painful Truth

Hope woke up with the sounds of people talking, sirens and footsteps. She was able to recognise the smell of her surroundings,  she knew she was in the hospital and she hates going to the hospital,  she hates that place so much,  for her the hospital is a place that brings nothing but pain, sorrow and death. After the accident, she hated going to the hospital,  it reminded her of the past,  reminded her of the death of the two people whom she really care about.
She opened her eyes slowly and the first person that she saw was her family,  she saw the tears of her mother and sister that was flowing down their cheeks. As she was trying to get up,  her brother held her and said, " where do you think you're going?  You need to stay and rest here for the night", " you're crazy if you think I want to stay here. I hate this place,  I hate the smell and everything about this place. ", " This place that you hate,  saved your life", and upon hearing those words, Hope could feel the rage and she looked sternly at her brother and said, " SADLY,  THIS PLACE COULDN'T SAVE MY HUSBAND AND MY DAUGHTER. YOU'RE MY BROTHER,  I THOUGHT YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND MY PREDICAMENT", her brother, Jake,  was about to say something when her dad stopped him. He put his hand on Jake's shoulder,  hinting that Jake should drop it and not to say anything else that could upset his sister. Jake backed off but Hope's sister opened her mouth and said, " I may not understand your pain and predicament,  but I will not going to back off and see you destroying yourself like this.  You need to stay here and rest,  no matter what. What are you so afraid of?Love?  You know you can talk to us about anything,  you don't have to face this problems or nightmare that you are experiencing right now alone cause you have us. Rick wouldn't want to see you like this nor Prue.", Hope looked at her sister who were crying and was begging her to stay and talk to them.
" I'm sorry,  but..... It hurts to talk and it hurts to breathe, that is why I don't way to talk about the past cause I am trying so hard not to even think about it but I can't. To lose your family right in front of you is hard and today I couldn't even save the couple, she was pregnant and I couldn't save them. The car exploded and there was nothing I could do. So,  I am very sorry that I've been very distant lately,  I'm sorry that I can't love anyone else right now", Hope was sobbing and her mum went up to her and hugged her,  telling her it is okay to be angry,  it is okay to be weak sometimes. Her mum told her to pack her stuff and that she will talk to the doctor to ask for permission to bring Hope home.
On the way home,  Hope fell asleep. Her mum and dad looked at her daughter through the rear mirror. "The two of you should apologize to her tomorrow morning.  I know you guys were trying to make her strong,  to make her experience love again but you have to find a suitable way to help your sister.  She has gone through alot.", said her father.  Upon arriving, Hope's sister, Helena helped her sister to the room for Hope was still kind of weak. Hope was sitting on her bed and there was silence in the room. Helena looked at Hope and decided to give her sister a big warm hug,  " I'm sorry for just now.  I just want you to be happy again,  to be cheerful, to smile like before.  I just want to help but I guess our method was wrong,  we were pushing you. I'm sorry, please don't hate me. ", said Helena as she pouted her lips.  Hope chuckled and said,  " Don't worry about it,  I could never stay mad at my baby sister. Thank you for trying to help and you're right,  I can't be too afraid and be sad forever,  Rick would've wanted me to be happy and so does Prue.", once again the sisters hugged each other.
Hope wiped the tears off of her sister's face and told her not to worry anymore for she will be changing herself to be a better person. She told Helena that she'll be needing the help. Helena smiled upon hearing this but Hope was still unsure if she can do it or not but she just said it because she felt like it was the right thing to say at that time.
The both of them got ready for bed and they both said Goodnight to each other.  Hope was too tired that as soon as she closed her eyes,  she was already asleep.
