LA, club, throwback
Sofie's POV
"Wanna dance?" Brad leaned closer and shouted, so I can hear his voice through the club's loud music.
"Sure," I nodded. We were dating on and off, none of us knew what this was yet. The only thing I knew is that I slowly started falling for him more and more.
We walked over to the crowd who jumped and dance to the music and joined them. Suddenly, a slow song started playing and everyone went off to sit down, except for the couples. I looked over at the DJ and saw Hope and Tris grining at us. I rolled my eyes and looked at Brad shyly.
"It's okay if you want to sit down," he said, srcatching the back of his neck.
"No. I wanna dance," I smiled at him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"The countdown begins in 5 minutes," someone shouted in a microphone.
"Let's go out to see the fireworks," Brad grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the club.
We stood there in the cold, waiting for the countdown to begin.
"Do you want my jacket?" Brad asked when he noticed that I was shaking.
"Yeah," I nodded. He put his jacket over my shoulders and smiled at me. I returned a thankful smile and looked back at the sky when the countdown began.
"...2...1..." the crowd shouted. Just when the first firework appeared, Brad turned me towards him by my waist and kissed me. I pulled him closer by his shirt and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Do you wanna be my girlfriend. Like, offically?" the curly haired boy asked, pressing his forehead to mine.
"Yes. I want to," I nodded with a smile. Brad kissed me again, more passionate this time. The fireworks were still lighting up the dark sky, but the only fireworks I cared about were those in my stomach when Bradley kissed me.
LA, Sadley's house, present day
Sofie's POV
I smiled to myself, remembering that night. It was my first New Year's Eve with Brad.
This time, we took the kids out and went up to the Hollywood sign to see the fireworks. No one was there, only the four of us.
"Happy New Year," Brad said before pulling me closer to him and kissing me passionately. That kiss brought back all the memories from our first New Year's Eve together.
"Happy New Year," I smiled at him after we pulled away.
"And happy third annyversary of being my girlfriend officially," he smiled, making me chuckle.
"I'm more than just your girlfriend now," I giggled.
"I know," he nodded, kissing me again.
