Part #15 A Rainy Situation

Yellow's POV

"Yeah! That should do it..." I stood up. "yep... sure is." He agree's by watching the umbrella I placed in the statue. "What's the point of this though?" I questioned him. "i dunno.... it was your idea" He answered. I nodded as we walk to the next room.

After all of that I mind as well think about what we've done so far... Well its a pretty boring journey, building flower bridges to cross to the next room, solving puzzles etc. But there is also an old piano we played..... Well technically we didn't play it, we just smashed a bunch of keys and ended up breaking it. A monster walked by and asked us 'why is this broken? I could have swore it was not broken the last time I saw it....' and you know what we did? We ran away as fast as we could and ended up being here. There end of story.

"hey... do u have an umbrella?" He questioned as he sway his umbrella around. "N-no.... Why?"

"well... it'll rain in the next area" He scratches the back of his head.

Okay.... First! Snow... Second.... RAIN?!! You know what? Just-just nevermind.

"Oh..... Then you share your umbrella with me!" I joyfully hop closer to him but not that close

He winced as I said that and blushed. "w-what??"

"C'mon! I don't want to be wet you know? And plus maybe even Gaster will kick me out in the lab cause im soaking wet!" I point out. He nodded awkwardly as we continue walking towards the black road.

"Hey Sans.... I was just thinking..."

"w-what is it Yuna?" He answered, nervous a bit.

"You..... You really like saving people... Don't you?"

"me?? well.... not really im jus-"

"How about this..." I cut him off as I looked him in his eyesockets.

"I don't wanna say this but I don't wanna be rude but I have the urge to say it so...." I stopped walking.

"Can you stop protecting me for once?" I clenched my hands. He looked at me confused.

"w-why?" He stutters as he questioned me.

"Like I said from yesterday.... I don't want people protecting me or being overprotective against me" I said, seriously.

He angrily fixed his eyes on me, while gritting his teeth. "i was just only trying to save ya from fallin' off the water!"

"It's still desame Sans!"

"so what do u want from me!? watch u fall off the water, and the then blaming me for not saving you?!" He yells as it echoes around the room.

"I didn't know that you could do that! So why should I be blaming you?!"

"then i should have let u fall off then!"

"Sans..."

"what?!!" He stubbornly yelled.

"I...." I started crying as I cover my face. He started shaking "o-oh g-god I didn't m-mean to-"

"Its fine..." I wiped my tears as it keeps forming back. "I-im s-sorry for being so s-stupid......" I hugged him without hesitation. He flinches as he didn't expect that to happen. He hugged me slowly as he lower down his breathing. I burried my face on his chest as I feel his heart calmly beating. I follwed his pulse as I kept on crying.

"I-im sorry...." I muffled, as I kept on listening through his heartbeat.

"nah its fine...." He calmly said under his breath, as he pats my head. This goes on for a while as I finished crying. He feels it too since im close to his chest or ribcage, whatever you call it. I wish it could stay like thiq. "ya done cryin'?" He questioned as he looks down at me. I slowly nodded and let go of him while looking down. I sway my bangs so that I could see. "s-so s-shall we c-continue?" He questioned. I nodded again and we continued walking.

As we go further, im starting to hear raindrops. Sans opened his umbrella. "Mind if I join in?" I nudged him trying to light up my mood. "s-sure...." He rolled his eyes.

Thr rain started to get heavier as we continue. Our footsteps splatters and echoes across the place. Its been a while since I saw the rain. It doesn't rain that much in the surface.

I snapped out of my thoughts and suddenly felt awkward because.... um... Sans is beside me.... Sharing the umbrella with me. I can already tell that he's blushing madly, so do I....

But I break the ice and started talking to him. Questions like "How are you?", "Do you like rain?". He stuttered as he answer all of my questions, not to mention, blushing.

"So.... How does it feel being in the lab? Like.... What do you do in there?" I questioned as he suddenly become serious. "well.... being in the lab is kinda.... ya know... not cool" He struggles as he keeps finding reasons. "Like, its noisy?" I corrected him. "yeah somethin' like that" He agreed. "its just.... it hurts being there. its like.... im they're servant, only useful when needed. they treat me like im useless, dumb, and-and...." He sighs as he didn't finished.

"i can help them too ya know? i-i... i can prove it! even... even just an assitant...." He looks down while gripping the umbrella. "heh.... but i know they'll never do that" He tightens his grip. I worried a little bit cause maybe he'll break the umbrella... Our only source of shelter.

"they already found a better one... that...t-thats why my dad is neglecting me" His hand started to emit blue and squeezed his umbrella making it bent.

"Hey Sans! Chill out! Your gonna break the umbrella!" I quickly snatch the bented umbrella. He calms down and wiped his tears. "s-sorry... got a little bit emotional right there hehe....." He scractches the back of his head.

"Dude you gotta becareful bout' your powers. And..... Argh! Look at what you've done!!" I showed him the umbrella which is literally broken. "I HATE BEING WET YOU KNOW?!! GAH!" I angrily said while punching him. "ow..."

"I swear, everytime you save my life, bad things will happen next. Just like last time!" I yelled at him. He looks like a mash pototi being smashed by my words. He's completely out of words while the rain is pouring down.

"u-uhm... l-lets just get outta here"

"How?!!!" I shouted while covering my head.

"i know a shortcut" He offers me his hand.

"Wait your gonna teleport us outta here? Let me prepare my self this time."

"yeah. make sure to close your eyes. c'mon! dont wanna be rained down ya know? hehe!" He laughs ay his pun.

"Yeah... A great time to say a pun..." I said sarcastically.

He started to meditate his powers. But before he intterupted it.

"i never usually got this wet ya know?"

"Wait! So skeletons doesn't take a bath?"

"......... whats a bath?"

"Omg.... What? WHAT????" Im so confused literally! "Gah! Just... teleport us away!"

"kk! close your eyes okay?"

The world started spinning as I hold his hand. We started to go faster and faster, so I hold on tighter. It keeps going and going until it finally slowed down. We landed on the ground safe and sound. It was a weird feeling, I can't even describe it. But my main problem here is im wet.

"Wwwhaaayyyyy????" I whined as I pull my wet shirt back and forth. " sorry didn't mean to break the umbrel-". "WHATEVER!!!" I yelled as I hiss at him like a cat.

"hey! you're not the only one who's wet here!" He points out.

I sighed as I look at my surroundings. I don't know where we are. But it looks like were still in Waterfall, but in a different place.

"Where are we?" I questioned Sans.
