episode one - part three

It was my first day of high school and I'm starting it alone. 

Alexa and Katie had been suspended for three days after the teepeed Trugly's house.

I entered the huge building and dodged people who were running through the corridors. I looked for my locker. I saw Lucas, staring at his hair in his mirror that he hung in his locker. I snuck up behind him and jumped on his back to scare him. 

"W-w-who is tha-," he looked in the mirror to see me peeking over his shoulder grinning. 

"Rose..." he rolled his eyes and smirked. He spun round to face me.

"hiiii," I grinned wildly at him.

He closed his locker.

"You missing Alexa and Katie?" he asked.

" Yeah, this just isn't how I imagined the first day of high school to go."

"It's not that bad, you have me."

I laughed.

"So what one's your locker?"

"284"

"Hey!" he exclaimed," that's the one next to mine."

"it's a small world," I said.

I opened my locker.

"What class do you have first?" Lucas asked.

"Drama. I'm gonna be so lonely without them," I whined.

"C'mon," he said," you've got the lantern thingy tonight though."

"Yeah," I closed my locker," who am I gonna go to that with though"

Lucas paused.

"You could go with me" he said.

"Really?"

"Sure, it would be fun."

"You sure you want to go with your little sisters friend rather than your actual 'cool' friends."

"Hey!" he exclaimed, "my friends are cool but your not just my sisters friend, you're pretty cool too."

"Oh wow, thanks. Such an honour," I said sarcastically.

"Ha. ha. So do you wanna come with me or not?"

"Hmm... I'm sure I'll be able to put up with you for one night," I laughed.

He pushed me, jokingly.

"Pick me up at 7," I smiled.

"Cool, it's a date," he said.

His eyes widened.

"I mean-it's uhh- umm," he spluttered.

I chuckled.

"I'll see you at seven," I smiled.

I started to walk off but I turned round quickly.

"It's a date," I shouted and laughed.

He stuck his middle finger up me, smiled and walked off.

A/N

I know its not that good. I just felt you had to see Rose and Lucas together by themselves before something juicy happens in the next chapter. I hope you guys are enjoying it so far, sorry it's taken me so long to update. I'm not very good at updating (whoops teheh).
