Harry's POV:
"Wake up Harry it's your birthday!" I heard my mum scream
I dug my face deeper in my pillow, and let out a long groan. I don't know why I'm not used to it, she does it every birthday.
"I'm up, I'm up." I said in a tired voice
"Good, because I have a surprise for you." mum said with a grin
"What now, I told you I didn't need anything." I said
"Just get ready." mum told me
I got out of bed and went to shower and brush my teeth. When I finished that I went to my closet to find something to wear. I got out a pair of black skinny jeans and a white V neck. Once I finished getting ready I went down and got breakfast.
Mackenna's POV:
When I finished eating breakfast I went on my phone, and saw that it was Harry's birthday. I went to my contacts on my phone and I texted Harry to tell him happy birthday.
"Hey Haz, I just wanted to tell you happy birthday, and you are the greatest best friend I could ever ask for. You have the kindest soul and you deserve the world." I told Harry
I checked my other messages and saw one from Anne.
"Hi, I wanted to know if you and Lana would come by, and help me surprise Harry. She asked
"Of course, what time should I come by?" I asked
While I waited on a response I went to my mum,and told her that Anne had invited us over. I heard a "Ding" from my phone.
"Ten minutes if that works for you and your mum."she told me
"We'll be there." I responded
When we finished getting ready we went to Anne's house and Harry was upstairs. She told me I could go up there if I wanted while they talked. Once I got up stairs I knocked on Harry's door and he yelled come in.
"Hey Haz" I said with a smile
"Hi MacKenna, by the way thanks for the text you really made my day." Harry said
"You're welcome, so how does it feel to be sixteen?" I asked
"Feels the same as it does every year." He chuckled
"Are you still planning on going to the exfactor, or did you change your mind?" I asked uneasy
That question has been on my mind since last year when he turned 14. We have been best friends for so long that i didn't want him to leave.
"Well if I can go then I definitely will, but we will se what happens." He told me
I just nodded my head and asked if we should head downstairs. We got down Stairs and we saw Anne holding a envelope.
"Here Harry." She said smiling
He looked at me and took the envelope. As he opened it a smile appeared on his face.
" I'M GOING TO THE EXFACTOR!" Harry screamed
