Sense of Humor

Hotaru Pov

Pan's family and friends are so nice that I never expected to happen and its much a sense of humor for this family to bring me out of the darkness.

"Hotaru! We're going to be heading out." Pan said taking my hand in hers as I smiled.

"Sure." I said as Trunks came over to walk along with us until I saw a short boy with crazy pointy hair arriving.

"Hey guys!" He greeted us happily with a wave.

"Grandpa, what are you doing?" Pan asked.

"I was just taking a nice walk that's all. Hey! I remember you, you're that girl back when we fought 17." He said.

"Oh...Yeah." I respond awkwardly.

"Hotaru this my grandpa. Let me explain because this is what happened; someone turned him into a child by using the dragon balls." Pan explained as I blinked in surprise or at least shocked.

"Interesting~" I giggled.

"Hey its not funny! Being stuck as a little kid again isn't so much fun when i'm a grown adult. We eventually found all 7 of the dragon balls so that way my friends can wish me back to my normal self again." He whined said.

"I'm sorry. I do hope that you do get back to normal." I said ruffling his hair as he pouted.

"So where are you guys going?" He asked.

"To the park." We answered.

"Let me tag along too." He said.

"Sure." We said.

~At The Park~

We were out enjoying ourselves walking around mesmerizing the beautiful nature around us. Afterwards, we stopped by to grab a bite to eat and I was staring in shock of how Pan's grandpa could eat so much.

"Wow....I never seen anyone eat that fast before." I said as he chuckled with a mouth full of food.

"Twaths because we saijams eat a lot." He muffled with a mouth full of noodles.

"Manners grandpa." Pan sighed.

"It's fine. He sometimes remind me of my dad kind of." I chuckled.

"Hotaru do ever have a chance to spend time with your dad?" Trunks asked.

"Sometimes. But, not as much as this; no. He's busy with work and doesn't have time for me like he used to." I replied sadly thinking about him as they stared at me with empathy.

"Cheer up! No need to be so bumped out when you have us. He'll probably book something up for the two of you can do." Goku said as I smiled with a nod. 

"Great." He patted by back as I fell against pan who caught me.

"Grandpa!"

"Whoops! Sorry." He cackled.
