There was a planet that ran around the sun
Oh how great it was, she had much fun
Then she had children not many but some
Who chose to make plenty and more to come
They disagreed, fought, and impartially decided
That they were crumbling apart and terribly divided
Bombs and missiles were recklessly launched
While leaves and bones were barbarically crunched
They poisoned her system with oil and trash
Cut out her hair not forgetting the lash
True but something would want you to ask
Would this be the deed they want to task
Polluted her air with smoke and ash
And took her Jewelry including the sash
So hurt and exposed did she feel
She couldn't believe that it was real
When problems arose form the center
She wanted to scream and end the banter
Tears were falling from the dark blue sky
The heavens opened for a universal cry
After the flow of grief and sadness
Comes a sudden steer of madness
Her eyes dilated and grew red
For humans all over to fear and dread
She shook and turned covered with mud
That made a wave then crashed to a flood
Her hair turned gray like strands of wire
Then struck the ground that created a fire
She blew and puffed a wind so strong
Lasted not short but very long
Though the clouds disappeared
The sun has come that everyone has feared
A lesson was learned by the human race
If you hurt or harm The lovely place
Trouble and tragedy will you face.
For so will you receive the grace
So it came to pass that they were okay
No more did they sin but worship and pray
Peace and love abounded around
Because the world was safe and sound
