Love Is For Fools

Chapter 1

The phone rang loudly. I tried to roll over and continue sleeping, but whoever it was called back.

"Whoever you are you better have something important to tell me" I threatened, answering the phone.

"Nice to hear from you too, sis" My brother, Cody answered.

"Cody. It is currently 6 in the morning. You better have a good reason to be waking me up"

"Well, we're leaving for tour today, and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?" He asked.

"Cody. I don't know anyone on that bus besides you" I replied.

"You know Zach" He argued.

"Fine. But if I don't have a good time, you're bringing me back home"

"Agreed" He said.

"And, getting me ice cream" I added.

"Fine" He laughed. "Now pack your things and be ready.

Then he hung up.

I literally rolled out of my bed. I found my big suitcase, and threw clothes into it. I grabbed my smaller bag and put bathroom necessities in it.

"All packed up Cody. Now get yourself to our house" I thought out loud.

As if he heard me, a huge tour bus pulled up outside.

I made my way out there, and onto the bus. They gave me the liberty of choosing a bunk. I chose the one across from someone named Maxx with two x's.

"So, Y/N, how's life been treating ya?" Zach asked after I put my bags in the back.

"As good as it gets I guess" I shrugged, hugging him.

"BABY SISTER!" Cody shrieked, running at me and hugging me.

"What's with the hug fest?" Someone else walked into the room.

"Maxx! This is Y/N, my baby sister" Cody introduced.

"I'm not even three years younger than you, you dork" I rolled my eyes.

Maxx looked back and forth between us.

"She's cuter than you, Cody" Maxx smirked.

Cody frowned and my cheeks turned pink.

"Not so bad yourself, Maxx with two x's" I smiled.

"You can just call me Maxx" He laughed.

When he laughed, his dimples showed. He has the cutest laugh I've ever heard.

"I like 'Maxx with two x's' better" I shrugged.

"Well, Y/N, how about I show you around the bus?" Maxx offered.

"Sounds great" I smiled at him.

"Dan should be back with food soon, you'll probably hear him come in" Cody called after us.

"Ok!" I kept walking.

"So, these are the bunks. Cody and Zach up front, me and you in the middle, and Dan and the other extra bunk on the end" Maxx pointed at each bunk.

"Fancy. I like it" I laughed.

"It's where we sleep for the tour. Sometimes two people at once if our girlfriend's come in" He smiled.

Well shit. Guess I'm out of luck. He has a girlfriend.

"You have a girlfriend?" I asked.

"I don't. Cody, Zach, and Dan do" He continued walking.
