Trigger warning!

My delicate fingers traced along the familiar light oak wood table. I sat on the wooden bench comprehending my thoughts on a Saturday afternoon.

Why does my life have to be such a bore? I never go out to parties, i never go out to restaurants, i never do anything. Why?

Oh yeah, because i have a block standing in my way.
This thing standing in my way isn't an object. It is in fact a human. He's name is Zach, Zach Herron.

Zach is personally one of the scariest human beings i have ever come across. But, i have to live with it.

My dad and i moved here to New Jersey when i was only eight years old. He got the job offer of a life time to work with josh Herron. Manager of many celebrities.

Josh called my dad, seeing that he was a major manager for small celebrities, and wanted to work with him. Josh invited my dad to manage and work on tour with a group called "XoTX"

Anyways my dad and josh became best friends. Immediately, hell, they're the best friends you wish you had. They live on the same street, hangout day in day out. Drink together till 3 in the morning at bars. And get to work with famous people.

But with my dad being gone all the time. I had to stay with josh's family. Which consists of Myta,Reese, Ryan and Zach.

Myta is josh's wife. She's the kind of person that you just want to hug endlessly. She's always treated me like her daughter.

Reese is their daughter. Seven years old and is like a younger sister to me. She always hung out with me when i had to stay with them. Which gets this. All the time.

Ryan is the son. He has always been nice to me but we never really hung out due to the fact that all he does is hangout with Zach.

That's where Zach comes in. I don't even know where to begin with this horrifying human.

While Ryan and Reese were doing great in school, Zach did bad. He was always so reckless and still is to this day. He never really cared about school-opposite of Ryan and Reese. Since his siblings were always so good. Zach never got attention.

Zach didn't like the fact that his family was going to have to watch over yet another child which also meant even less time for his parents to pay attention to him. He was beyond furious with me.

Obviously he grew out of that stage but now he just down right hates me.

I've always tried to be nice to him but no matter what i do, he will never look at me as anything more than scum on his shoe.

"Mia!" Myta catches me off guard while i gasp for a mini bubble of air. I quickly removed my finger tips from the table and gave her  my full attention.

"I'm making sandwiches for the boys, do you want one?" She sends me a kind old smile.

"I'm okay, Myta. Thank you" i smile looking back down to the table.

I hear her let out a breath as she stops what she's doing to look at me, "here, why don't you help me put these together?" She smiles holding out a sharp knife.
