His head tells him not weigh his hopes on maybe, but Jooheon has never been the kind to listen to his head.
Luckily enough, Changkyun's parents live in the same apartment complex as he does so he tries to get his mail at the same time as Changkyun and go for walks when he notices Changkyun is taking out his dog and "coincidentally" runs into him when he's coming home from buying milk. And Changkyun smiles that toothy smile at him and asks him how he is and Jooheon can hardly fathom how someone so cool could ever want to talk to him.
Eventually, after a whole week of these little incidental meetings, Changkyun asks him if he wants to walk his dog with him, and cracks a joke about how he must either have a family of ten or really like milk with how much of the stuff he's buying. If it was possible to swoon in real life, Jooheon thinks he must have done it.
