Him + Her

She changed her life around and made it about her and noone else.

She's still depressed but she can now live without a constant need for physical pain.

Stuck in a world filled with many different groups she has no regrets.

But by laughing at the naivety of people and wondering when things are going to change she starts to think and depression slowly takes her over again.

Names are running through her head. None are good, all are bad. Lines from songs are stuck in there. None are good, all are bad. Neither will go away.

Her head's going mad from the names and lines.

All she wants is an outlet for the pain. To turn the mental into physical once again.

Her friends think she's gone crazy, maybe she has, but none of them will ever fully understand what's wrong with her.

They keep their distance and don't bother her when she's down now.

But.

One of her best friends has the same problem.

So he's the only one who truly understands.

He has near enough the same problems but on a different level.

One of the only things he thinks about is whose heart he should break next.

Should it be the popular girl with a million guys after her? Or the quiet girl who craves for the attention of a hot guy?

Or just for a change should it be the girl who thinks she's the most gorgeous girl in school and will do anything for a bit of alcohol?

None of the three need the hurt, but he still tries and gets away with it.

Noone believes he could do that just to be mean and hurtful.

But I know better.

He and she seem like the perfect pair.

Right?

But nothing more than friendship is ever going to exist between these two.

Because...

She needs security not a heart breaker.

He needs a fresh heart to break not an already broken heart.

Despite this if you put two and two together you'll get one of the best friendships ever.

She's a lonely girl whose issues with the world carry on every day even when people tell her that she is imaging them.

He's the guy that breaks a heart for the pain it leaves him with.

A perfect friendship.

Formed after a few days.

Seems a little like it was fate.

But I know he'll never hurt her or break her heart and that sounds good to me.

Oh by the way, the girl I'm going on about. Well...she's me.
