Y/N your name.
Your thoughts are in this style.Joelee.
You were an experiment with The Monarch. You originally had escaped when Conner released the original twelve from their cells, you fled to the city where you'd been homeless for about a year.
Until the Monarch found you once again and took you in to be one of their soldiers.
Now, today is your tenth mission, but your first ever solo message.
You're being sent to kill two targets who are apparently causing a lot of trouble for The Monarch.
Now you lay in waiting, your source has told you that your targets will be coming to the Knight office shortly.
You sit impatiently in your hideout, having already taken out the security cameras and the phones, all you had to do was wait...which was easier said than done.
It had been nearly three hours when your two targets finally arrived, but they were arguing which was far more fascinating than taking them out so quickly. So like any sane person, you listened in, wishing that you had popcorn.
" All I'm saying is that you shouldn't be putting your life in danger by going out every night and fighting crime!" Your male target, Dean Knight practically yelled at your female target, Joelee Martin.
" It's what I've been doing for two years, Dean! Just because you think it's dangerous doesn't mean I have to stop! I like being a superhero, I like helping people.... And if you can't accept that maybe we're better off not being together." Joelee gritted out, her blue eyes watering as she spoke.
She was definitely more attractive than you had originally thought she would be, they both were in fact. You almost felt bad for her though, she looked crestfallen as she spoke.
" You don't mean that..." Dean began slowly but Joelee quickly shook her head at his words.
" Actually I do mean that, Dean. I'll see you around....maybe." Joelee turned and began stalking away.
You grinned.
Now was your chance.
You slink from the shadows, sneaking up from behind Joelee, you raise your hands, preparing to use them just as she whips around, grabbing your arm.
" Next time you choose to attack me, I suggest you do it when I'm not in the middle of a break-up." Joelee growled, her eyes flashing yellow as she punched you in the face, sending you flying against the the door.
" Damn." You grunt as she launches at you, preparing to hit you once again but you dodge her fist, causing her to crack the glass door behind you.
" You know, I think from the few seconds that I'd been watching you two that he's tying you down. You deserve better." You say as you knee her in the stomach but she barely even flinches.
Damn, that was kinda hot... You think to yourself just as she slams her fist into your face, black veins spreading over her face and arms as she did.
" Not that I asked for your opinion. But he's supportive about everything else... He's just changed in the last few months." Joelee said before you swept her feet out from under her.
" People change. He should let you do what you think is right, only offering advice when you ask for it." You say as she collapses to the ground next to you.
" I know... I just.... I can't be with someone that doesn't emotionally support me." Joelee said as he expression changed from one to anger to one of sadness.
