Classes slowly made it's way to an end, leaving a few more periods left to go. The only thing that Y/N had left was lunch and math class. All I have to do is make myself disappear. No one will notice me, I'm sure I can make it through two more years of this. It can't be that hard. She thought to herself while having her backpack slung across her shoulders and her journal in hand. Without much being said, she made her way to the cafeteria silently, no one spared a look at his this time, they were all too caught up in their own conversations to notice her. Well, at least most of them.
Namjoon was walking with Mina and a group of friends to the cafeteria, usually they'd simply get their lunch and head to the band room and eat. The school didn't officially have a band yet. For now, the room seemed to be an area where kids would hang out and mess around with the old equipment. Namjoon's eyes travelled over to Y/N sitting alone on a table by herself, a small pack of crackers by her side and he hand gliding it's way across the paper of a leather book. Maybe it was her diary. He watched as Y/N tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and furrowed her eyebrows just a little while erasing the mistake she had made on the paper.
"Isn't that right Joonie?" Mina nudged Namjoon, causing him to break out of the sudden daze he was in. "Huh? What?" he asked while looking back at his girlfriend and friends. "We were talking about starting up a school band. But the only thing is, we need a vocalist and a guitarist." Jimin said and shrugged. "I mean, I don't mind it. I could go around and ask for some people and see if they wanna try out. I mean, its not that hard." Mina said and shrugged. "Oh, well yeah. Just start asking around. I'm sure it can't be too hard to find a vocalist and guitarist." he shrugged while turning back to see if Y/N was there. And as soon as he found her, he lost her. It was as if she had disappeared.

The end of the day neared, as kids went home. Y/N grabbed her backpack and stood up. The math class was just fine, again, that boy was in her class. What was his name? Kim Namjoon? From observation she had noticed that Namjoon seemed to be a genius. Which was kind of intriguing. She didn't pay much mind to it as she shrugged it off and began to walk home. Little did she know that Namjoon was headed the same way.
He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he looked around, seeing that familiar pink sweater, white backpack, and raven black hair that hung to her mid thighs. It was odd. Namjoon had noticed so much about the girl yet he only spoke to her once, and that conversation was incredibly brief. "Hey, Y/N. Where ya off to?" he called out while jogging up to her, so he could walk side by side with her. Y/N tilted her head at him. "Home...?" she said and looked straight ahead. "Oh, I didn't know you lived around here. Where's your house, do you mind if I walk you home? Ya know, just for some company. You always seem to be alone." Namjoon suggested.
"Uhm...sure, why not? I live just around the corner." Y/N shrugged while giving him a weary look. "Around the corner? The market is just around the corner. I'm sure you don't live in a market." he teased and laughed softly. Y/N smiled. "I kind of do. My family owns a dumpling restaurant. And my Mother and the rest of my brothers and sisters live in the shop with or grandma. We live on the upstairs, while the shop is downstairs." she explained. "Oh! That's pretty cool." Namjoon replied as they took a turn and began to walk towards the restaurant.
"You want some dumplings to take home? I'll give you a box for free, you should have them before we run out of kimchi filled dumplings. Business was going pretty good today, my grandma told me that it's all for that soccer game coming up." Y/N offered. "Wait. Really? I wouldn't mind some dumplings, I'm sure my family would love some." Namjoon smiled. "Alright, lets hurry. Hopefully they still have some." Y/N said and walked into the small shop. It was already full of people who were ordering.
After a few minuets, Y/N came out of the kitchen with a box full of food. "Here ya go, it's on the house. Have a good afternoon Namjoon!" Y/N waved him off and smiled. Namjoon bowed and flashed her a dimpled grin before leaving.

Later that night Y/N's family sat in the living room. Y/N was out at the town circle, playing her guitar and singing for the tourists, ya know...trying to get some extra cash. Daifuku, the oldest brother walked into the living room holding a bag of clothes. "Some kid dropped this off at the resturant claiming it was something Y/N needed." he said while giving the bag to his mother. Y/N's mother looked in the bag and rose an eyebrow, "Uniforms?" she muttered. "It's okay. I'm just going to put it in Y/N's room. When she comes back, I'm sure she'll see it." she said while placing it in her daughter's room.
Whilst Y/N was out in the town that night, many people came to see her perform, they cheered, wooped, screamed, and even made some generous donations. To say the least, lots of people showed up. Even some kids from her school.
But this was just the beginning. A little act of kindness could turn into something much more.
