Mini Prom (Part 2)

*Angie's P.O.V*

I changed into my cocktail dress and looked at my reflection in the mirror and smiled

I opened my cabinet and grabbed my Infinity necklace that Ashton gave me on my birthday

I took a deep breath and smirked

"Have a great night Angie...Just ignore the hurtful things around you" I muttered to myself

Cassy went downstairs already so I was left here alone in my room

I dont wanna go downstairs..I dont wanna see Darren wearing a tux...

For sure, he's gonna look more attractive right now and I dont wanna fall deeper for him since I know that it would just hurt me more...

This life sucks

I sat down at the edge of my bed hoping that Cassy wont call me and let me come downstairs becau--

"Angie!!! Come down here!! We're gonna be late!!" I heard Cassy shout

Ugh-- I knew this was gonna happen

I took a deep deep breath...

And held the doorknob but before I could open the door, I tried my best to smile as fakely as I can

"Well, here goes nothing" I muttered and finally opened the door

I took steps slowly on the stairs and held the railings feeling like a princess that's celebrating her 18th birthday, but the difference is...Im 12

I looked at Darren and smiled at him but then his expression was blank...completely blank

He doesn't care at all...Oh well, I can live with that....I think??

When I finally took the last step, I made my way to the garage and told our Driver to drive us to school...

It was very silent...

You could only hear the engine of the car...

"Kuya Driver...paki turn on po ng radio" I said

(Kuya Driver...please turn on the radio)

Kuya Driver turned on the radio and I can see that he was releived that I tried to stop the silence inside the car...seems like I wasnt the only one who was annoyed
