Chapter three

Sunday morning came by too quick. [Name] had woke up around 7 am because of a crying Ursule. She didn't wish to get up but she knew her daughter wouldn't stop unless she had her mother by her side. Walking into a pink painted bedroom she saw Ursule was crying on her princess bed. Sometimes the four year old would have nightmares, something she got from her father. [Name] barely had nightmares or dreams.

Picking up Ursule she rubbed her back making her wake up. "Mommy?" "Shhh its okay baby, go back to sleep, I'm right here" she kissed her daughters forehead and allowed her to rest on her shoulder as she walked into the living room. She sat on the couch and turnd on the news.

"Tom today a man was found in a ditch just outside our small town. His face is unrecognizable."

"Jerry do you think its the same people that murdered the Genovese woman?"

"Most likely"

"Thank you Jerry well see you back here at the office, folks we don't want to scare you but just for now be careful where you go and don't go alone"

Turning off the tv she sighed "did they say something about Genovese?" She questioned her self "what" a tired voice asks. "Nothing" [name] replies looking up at her husband and both of them share a kiss even though they both didn't brush their teeth.

"Honey I was thinking we should move" her husband spoke "I've been saving for a while now. Ursule has the biggest room in the house while both of us are cramped. I'm going to talk to some home owners and see what they think." [Name] nodded "ok but I really don't mind being cramped, I love both of you so very much" they both shared another kiss.

[Name] walked into her classroom Monday morning to have Lucky and his father surprise her "hello Lucky, Mr.Genovese" she smiled at them. She was a school teacher but over the weekend her husband and her had a little fun. So today she wore a collar dress with knee high boots.

"[Name] please just call me Sam." She nodded "okay Sam" Sam smiled "here a present." She took a gift bag out of his hands and set in on her desk to open it. "Wow" inside the bag was a floral draped dress, it had a waist band and the primary color was champagne. Lucky handed her another bag "here this one is for Ursule " she smiled "just wow, you two did this for us? Its beautiful" she kissed Luckys cheek and stood up to look at Sam "I want you to join me at a house party. It's tonight." [Name] smiled "I would love too, I can see if my husband would come as well." Sams face soured at the thought of meeting her husband. The man was innocent and yet he despised him. "Sure" Sam spoke. "My limo will pick all of you up at 7:30. All I need is your address" She nodded and took out a piece of paper "here you go. " taking the paper in his hands he smiled and said goodbye.

After school ended [name] took both gift bags home. She found her husband on the couch with Ursule who was watching a new kids cartoon. "Hey beautiful" he smiled standing up and greets her with a kiss "gifts?" "Oh a friend gave them too me for Ursule and I" her husband nodded "were going to a fancy party. Want to go?" She asks shaking her shoulders in a dancing matter "a limo is picking us up at 7:30." He nodded once again "a limo? That's fancy. I didn't know you had such rich friends ." He spoke in a confuse manner.

"Baby remember when I told you about Lucky and his father? Well we are friends now"

"Ok so what should I wear, my suit?"

She smiled "yes, lets go get ready"

It took [name] an hour to get ready her self but afterwards she was able to get Ursule ready. Looking to see how everyone was she smiled "you look gergous." Her husband spoke "but how did he know the right size?"

[Name] shrugged her shoulders "probably made a lucky guess"

"Hmmm" he didn't seem convinced but he let it pass. He had realized this man has taken both his wife and daughter out once before and now he has bought them expensive dresses to go to a party. He didn't want to be a asshole but he wanted this man to see [name] with him. Show him how real he was.
