So I woke up at 7:00 am, and my appointment starts at 8:40... I'm so nervous. I decided to stop being a wimp and get ready, so I went downstairs, brushed my teeth and mentally prepare myself for what's to come. 😂
I'm the car and I decided to listen to some music. I think my mom's more nervous than I am at this point.
I'm finally pulling into my orthodontist's parking lot, I'm a little late but that's ok I guess!
My mom told me to run up and check myself in, so I ran up the stairs, walked through the door, and awkwardly stood there until I told them my name.I was taken back to have an xray, and then I was asked to sit in THE chair.
They laid me back and put in cheek retracters in and started cleaning my teeth. They put in the brackets and glued them down, I also had to have bite blocks. Yay me.At the end they showed me how to brush, floss, and even have me a list of foods I can and cannot eat. There was a nasty taste in my mouth, luckily they gave me mouth wash to rinse that out.
After that was all over I went to run errands with my dad and we got Chick fil a because my teeth didn't hurt yet.
My teeth still didn't hurt at the time, just pressure. Oh! I also forgot to mention I will have these puppies on for over two years.
At the end of the day my teeth started to hurt so that's good! This "book" will get better as it goes on. These are my personal experiences and they aren't the same as other people's experiences! I hope to help someone with this! C ya!😝
