This is a bonding chapter with So-Sang and her kids
"W-Why did you two get a divorce", he asked through sniffles.
"Um...I'll tell you when you're older", I petted his head trying to comfort and reassure him. There was no way I could tell a seven-year-old that their father cheated on me with my so-called friend and now that so-called friend is the mother of my boyfriend's children. It's just one vicious cycle of heartbreak and confusion.
"You promise", he wiped his tears away with his shirt.
"I promise", I said and finished the recycling. Walking up the stairs with Jimin trailing behind me.
°°°°°
We walked inside and I stopped him from going to sleep for a moment.
"Jimin, if Taehyung asks where your father is can you tell him to talk to me", I pleaded softly.
"Of course Eomma, can I sleep now", he rubbed his eyes.
"Goodnight Jimin", I leaned down to kiss his forehead. To be honest I was feeling tired from all of this crying.
°°°°°
I woke up to something poking my cheek softly "Eomma wake up I'm hungry", Taehyung said as he repeated.
"What would you like", I asked tiredly, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"Pancake", he said simply with a slight pout on his lips.
"Okay", I rolled out of the bed putting my slippers on and walked to the kitchen. I made a few pancakes for everybody except Jungkook.
"Eomma you an Appa gonna move together", he asked taking a pancake in his little, chubby hands.
"Come again", I asked him with a bit of disbelief. Why did they want to know about their father all of a sudden?
"Yeah, my new brothers. I miss them", he said with a pout on his lips.
"Um", there wasn't anything I could say. I didn't have an answer to that question.
"Go sit down and eat, you're making a mess", I scolded him and he toddled over to the folding table.
"Aigoo, god why must you make my life complicated", I whispered the heavens. Predictably, I didn't get an answer. I walked over to the table with a plate full of pancakes and put it in the middle table.
"Eomma turn on the t.v", he asked.
"Taehyung what's the magic word", I always taught him to be respectful.
"Please", he said with a smile.
"Ok. What show should we watch", I asked flicking through the channel.
"Molang", he chirped happily. I turned it to Molang and saw the chubby rabbit and the small yellow chicken beside him.
"Eomma, me and Jungkook are Molang and Piu Piu", he smiled.
"How so", I asked taking the last bit of the pancake sucking on my fingers.
"He's shy and I'm energ-", he was having trouble saying energetic.
"Energetic Taehyung", I told him with a smile.
"Yeah you know where I was getting", he said defensively.
"Hopefully he'll break out of it in the future", I said.
"Maybe. I play now", he told me getting up going to play with his toys.
"Legos huh", I said as I followed him sitting down in the playing area.
"Yeah wanna play", he asked sitting the bucket on the ground taking the lid off.
"Sure", I grabbed a piece and put others with it making a little house.
"Ne Eomma, how are you so good", he crossed his arms with jealousy.
"Yours looks great", it looked like a car or truck something with wheels.
"You like. It's a boat", h-how it has wheels.
"EOMMA"! Jimin yelled running to the play area. He was panicking.
"Yes Jimin what's wrong", I asked grabbing his arms looking him over to see if he had any injuries.
"It Jungkook", he clasped a hand around my wrist dragging me into their bedroom. He looked perfectly fine and was sitting up looking around.
"What's wrong with him", I asked confused.
"Lo-Look he's growing teeth", he opened his mouth wide and Jungkook followed his example. He was growing his two front teeth.
"Jimin you look pale, calm down", I fanned him a little he looked as if he was gonna faint at any moment.
"Oh. Jungkook you grow", he picked him up hugging him. I sweat dropped at the scene, wh-what is this.
