Zayn took another sip of his beer, sighing to himself.
‘’Zayn? What are you doing here?’’ Niall’s happy voice echoed through the empty flat.
‘’I thought I could come over whenever’’ Zayn replied in a monotone voice.
‘’Of course, you can, had a fight with Rachel again?’ ’Niall asked softly as he took in his features, puffy eyes, dishevelled and tired looking overall.
‘’Yeah, whatever we do, we end up fighting like them’’ Zayn sighed, refereeing to his parents who never had a steady relationship.
‘’Maybe you need to think, what did they do wrong? Maybe they needed some time’’ Niall said gently and stood up ‘’I’m going to make the guest room for you’’
‘’Thanks, Niall, it means a lot’’ Zayn cracked a small smile, his mind working at full speed.

Rachel sniffled and took a deep breath. ‘’Zayn and I had a fight again’’
‘’Again? Rachel...’’ Harry trailed off with a sad look.
‘’I know it’s wrong, but we got mad and we both start throwing harsh words at each other and God Haz, I don’t know what to do anymore’’ She cried.
‘’Just never forget you love him, and how your fights are just bumps in the road, Rachel he loves you more than life itself, you can overcome this. Think about it while I make the guest room for you’’ Harry said sympathetically.
‘’Thanks, Haz, I need to think’’ She sighed.

‘’Morning’’ Niall smiled, sipping of his coffee as Zayn walked downstairs.
Zayn sent a nod and grabbed a coffee, sitting down and breathing out deeply.
‘’I thought about it, and I think I have the perfect apology, I just need your and Haz help’’ Zayn smiled ‘’She’ll love it’’
‘’Sure, I’ll call Harry. What do you have in mind?’’ Niall sat up.

‘’Rachel, we are going to go out, and you are going to forget about Zayn for a while’’ Harry lied smoothly.

‘’Yes, go shower and get ready’’
‘’Fine’’ She sighed, her thoughts filled with Zayn.

‘’Figured what out?’’ Niall hummed.
‘’This whole thing, our fights and everything, Rachel’’ Zayn smiled at the mention of her name.
‘’Oh, really? Go on’’ Niall smiled as well.
‘’I will, I wrote it down so I can tell it to Rachel too’’ Zayn smiled sheepishly.

‘’Harry! Come on, do I need to close my eyes?’’ Rachel sighed; Harry didn’t reply.
‘’Harry?’’ Rachel murmured ‘’Are you here?’’
Just as she was about to open her eyes, warm hands covered them.
Her heart did a backflip, and she smiled involuntarily.
‘’Zayn?’’ Her voice was barely a whisper.
‘’Yeah’’ His rich Pakistani soothed.
She remained silent, her heart beating faster than before as Zayn leads her.
‘’Sit’’ He whispered into her neck and she shivered.
She sat on the soft material; Zayn had removed his hands, so she opened them and sucked in a deep breath.
‘’Zayn, this place is amazing’’ She smiled taking in the beautiful setting of the thick trees covering most of the darkening sky.
‘’Nothing is as amazing as you are baby’’ Zayn smiled and kissed her head.
She giggled and rested her head on his shoulder, their argument long forgotten.
‘’Rachel, I need to tell you something, this past year of marriage was the best in my entire life, when I made you mine, I vowed to make you happy, so now I will. Rachel, I love you so much, so much it hurts, you are the angel of my life and without you I would be depressed, you know about my parents. Sometimes that what fucks me up, but I realized that you and I are different. You and I look into things differently. We have this strong love and faith in each other, and I just know that you and I will make it to the end’’ Zayn finished with tears glossing his eyes.
Rachel smiled tearfully and pulled him into a kiss.
