"Who the hell did this?" Chance roared out as he clutched the limp body.

"I, I did sir," a young boyish looking man stepped forward.

Chance rolled his dull and lifeless eyes, "Burn him," he directed to the others.

Chance gently lifted Graceson's body and carried her to his vehicle that was waiting outside. Once he laid her in the seat, he ran around to the driver door, slid into his own seat and drove as fast as he could back to his mountain home.

~~~~~~
"Graceson"
Who was that?
"It was me dork"
"Jordan?" This isn't possible I saw you die.
"Oh honey, I know you did, but things aren't that simple where we are."
"But, but I don't understand. How are you here... oh... Am I... Am I dead?"
"Quit being so dramatic. No you're not dead. At least not yet anyway. You need to fight, choose the right path so you can return to your mate."
"You mean the mate that had us all killed no thank you." Hmm there should be chairs up here its really bland. Graceson turned around and a soft white chair appeared in front of her. " Now this is more like it," She laid down in the chair and made herself comfortable.
"Graceson I'm serious. If you don't go back our entire species will be wiped out. Go back," he thought for a few minutes, "it is what the moon goddess has commanded."
"Well shit, why did you have to bring her into this? I mean what has she ever done for me? You know, other than giving me a homicidal mate."
"She is allowing you a second chance to make things right. Now go; we don't have much time left. When you wake up be-" And with that a chiming sound rang throughout her body as if it was jolting her back to the real world. The white airy paradise was being ripped away, and everything faded to black
~~~~~

"Chance! She's waking up!"

"Give her some space."

"EVERYBODY SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Graceson hadn't even opened her eyes, her head was pounding and she needed some space. She slowly peaked out into the real world half expecting to be in a holding cell of some sort. INstead she found herself at what looked like a hospital, but she still wasn't so sure.

"My Queen. You have finally awoken," who the hell is this jokester calling Queen. Maybe he escaped the psych ward. Graceson giggled a bit at this thought.

"Does anyone know when Chance will be here?"

"Dillon said he was dealing with the idiot what did this to her. He should be here-"

"Where. Is. she?" That is when the smell hit her. He smelt like pine needles and fresh rain. He smelled like fire and ice. What the hell are you thinking? This man murdered your pack and all of those humans. Graceson set a sour look on this man, Chance she assumed, she then decided that she was going to do whatever it took to get rid of this man.

"My Love, how do you feel? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Has anyone gotten her some water? What do you need my dear?" Awe he's trying to be sweet. That's funny.

"Actually yes, I do need something. To leave and to mourn my pack. I need to bury all of the bodies you destroyed and I need to find my parents."

With her comment a sad look fell on Chance's face. How would he make her forgive him? What can he do to heal her heart?
