This story starts off in a small town called Irvington in the state of kentucky. A girl her brother and there best friend. The girl is named Rose then there is her brother Leo and there friend Stephen who goes by the name Tank Dempsey because he doesn't like his family he changed his name to put as much distance from them as possible. The occupation Rose had before the apocalypse was a musician, Her brother Leo was a marine before the apocalypse trained as a medic and a rifle man because every marine is trained as a rifle man as well as what there job is( for example a person who wants to join the marines as a medic will be trained as a medic and a rifle man ) , Stephen's occupation was the army as a infantry troop he was a machine gunner in his squad but very qualified in handguns, rifles of all types, sub machine guns and machine guns with Leo having the same qualifications. Rose and Leo were in there farm house on the outskirts of town. Stephen or Tank as he prefers to be called is at his house which is in town. Stephen lived with his cousin(because he's gonna go bye bye hence the title of the next chapter)
