(I didn't realise there was a one picture limit on the header so... and I couldn't find a pic with Nen and both of the Yuichanzu... so you're gonna have to live with this... ah, its only 706 words >_<)

-----------------------------------------------

It had been 4 months since Imaizumi Yui had graduated from Keyakizaka46. She was out of the loop with what the other members were up to, especially everything to do with Akane's condition and what was going on behind the scenes. She was busy with her own solo career after all.

However, there was always one person within the group that she had always talked to. Her partner and the other half of the Yuichanzu duo, Kobayashi Yui. Everyday, the two of them took the time to contact each other; tell each other how they were, what was going on in their day and what they were going to do tomorrow.

But when Kobayashi sent her a worrying text message two or so months after she graduated, Imaizumi knew she had to go back and see what was wrong.

"Zuumin, she's gone..."

"Eh..? Gone?"

Imaizumi quickly replied back with, "Wait, who? What do you mean by 'gone'?"

"Akanen... She passed away."

"No way... Akane... died?"

Imaizumi just looked at the phone, trying to comprehend what she was told. She just sat at the edge of her bed, slowly processing the information.

"She's gone... So I'll never see her again..." She thought, gripping her phone tighter in her hands.

Tears started to well in her eyes as the reality set in. For her, what hurt the most was not the fact that Akane had died, but rather, the fact that she never got to say a proper goodbye.

....

"Yuipon... are you sure it's okay for me to see her?"

Kobayashi nodded, "Even though the two of you haven't met in some time, I'm sure she'd still appreciate the company."

Imaizumi shook her head, "I just don't think I can bare to see her after all this time..."

"Zuumin, I'm sure it'll be okay. Let's go." Kobayashi took hold of her hand as they walked to the cemetery where Akane was put to rest.

The two of them stopped in front of a certain gravestone.

On it was the name "Moriya Akane", and set against the bottom of it was a picture of Akane.

The two knelt down and Imaizumi placed a small bouquet of red roses down in front of the picture.

"Akanen... Zuumin came to see you."

Imaizumi said a small prayer before looking at Kobayashi, hearing her talk about her.

"I'm sure she's listening, so, Zuumin..."

"Right," Imaizumi gave a sad smile, facing the gravestone. "Akane... I know it's been months since we've last seen each other, but I wanted to tell you so much since I left Keyaki... I guess I was too busy to do that. I'm sorry..."

Kobayashi could only listen in on Imaizumi's somber voice. She knew how Imaizumi was always energetic and happy, so hearing her so sad and melancholic felt strange to her.

"I wish I could've said goodbye to you sooner... maybe then I could've done something to help you.."

She heard her voice crack, tears starting to roll down her cheeks.

"I wanted to be able to perform with everyone... All of us, one last time..."

Kobayashi embraced her from behind and comforted her. Imaizumi gripped her fists as she looked at the gravestone, with teary eyes.

"I should've stayed for a little while longer... maybe I could've granted that wish of mine..."

"Zuumin..."

Imaizumi gave a bitter chuckle, "I'm just being stupid, aren't I, Yuipon? I'm just a bad person for leaving without telling her... and now I'm wishing everything was different. I..."

"You're not a bad person!"

Her eyes widened as Kobayashi suddenly raised her voice, hugging her tighter.

"Y-Yuipon.."

"You may not know it, but Akane really enjoyed your company. Whenever I come home, I always get messages from her saying how happy she was to be around you. I'm sure she felt the same way as you do; she wanted to say goodbye to you. But she couldn't..."

Imaizumi could only bury her face into Kobayashi's shoulder as she continued to cry, both of them staying in their positions for a little while.

After some time passed, Imaizumi stopped crying and looked up towards Kobayashi.

"I think I'm ready now..."

"Okay..." Kobayashi stood up and helped Imaizumi to her feet.

"Thank you, Yuipon, for being here with me."

"Of course."

After saying one last prayer, the two left the graveyard together.
