"Have you ever wondered what the world looks like?"
"Nah, I think it'll be a waste of time for me."
That's me and my bestfriend, Sebastian Knight, he's also my roomate. He prefers by knight, though. He's an extreme philosopher. He's very noisy, there's not a day where he doesn't speak. He doesn't know my gift so I act disable around him. It's hard to be exposed that ability in this kind of year. Oh! Haven't I told you it's the year 2020, you might think it's the year of flying cars and robots? Well, I got bad news for you, the world today is nothing but a colony, walls around cities, stuff like that. Why? Extreme pollution. It's nothing but smoke-y athmosphere out there, at least that's what I heard, government has never been this much powerful... and stupid, crime rate grew higher and higher everyday.

"We're late!!" I yelped with a worried expression on my face.
Now you might be wondering how does a blind kid like me got into a ordinary school, as I told you, I have audiographic memory, which allows me to remember everything I hear. So.. yeah. Just blind kid that's top of his class. No biggy.
"Okay class, settle down" That's Mr. Santiago, my favorite and science teacher. I love science, it gives me answers around the questions that people ever wonder about, we never study about nature though, that's in history now. Also, another reason why I'm interested in Science is to know if I can figure out what this condition I have.
"Today we will be discussing the five senses, anyone can name the five senses will receive five additional 10 points on our next quiz." Said Mr. Santiago sitting on his table holding a pencil he's ready to point at the students who are raising their hands. I thought the lesson was the dullest lesson he'll teach until he mentioned the vestibular system. "Balance, equilibrioception, or vestibular sense is the sense that allows an organism to sense body movement, direction, and acceleration, and to attain and maintain postural equilibrium and balance." He said in a loud manner. "Finally, something that caought my attention" I murmured. Is this it? Is this the explanation I've been trying to figure out almost all my life?
~Riiiiiiiing~
"See you tomorrow, class" He said as he sits down his chair while the class leaves hurriedly for recess. I quickly approach Mr. Santiago. "Sir, is it possible for a person like me?" I asked with shaking hands, "What is?" He asked wondering while checking our today's quiz. "To sense human movement?" "Well, I'm not sure about that, Jack!" He said with a low tone "Why do you ask?" He asked followed by his reply. "Oh, nothing, just curious" I replied "Okay then, well, see you tomorrow in class I know you'll find our next topic interesting" He said with a joyful voice. "And why is that?" I asked, "It's about Thermoception! The sense of heat and the absence of heat by the skin" He said sounding excited all of the sudden like it's something I'll look forward to. "Alright, sir. I'll look forward to it" I asked as I walk to the classroom exit.
I walk by the walls of the school because, you know, "Hey, need help?" a sweet voice I hear nearby. "Jill?" I asked even if I know it's her, "Maaaaaaaybe.." She said while swinging her arms back and forth. She's Jill Evergreen, the very first person that wanted me as a friend, HECK! The very first girl that wanted me as a friend. I don't really know what she looks like but Knight says she's beautiful, Knight describe her to me, she's a short girl but not too short, of course. Brown, wavy hair, pink lips, skin like alabaster, it's was like heaven when I heard Knight's description of her, but above all that, is her heartbeat, sky blue, which is peace, strength, and security. I have always wondered where she gets such serenity.
