Chapter 3 The walk home

-Noah's POV-

What just happened! Where did my brother just disappear to. Wait what's that noise? Just then I heard sirens in the background whizzing past me, and the wind was starting to howl. I just pushed him into a puddle! I didn't think he would DISSAPEAR?!?! OLIVER DUDE WHERE ARE YOU.

I didn't know what to do. I have never been this scared in my life. I did this, I pushed him, I'm the reason he's gone.... I have to find him.

I better hurry I don't know what kind of trouble he could be in. The leaves were falling all around on the crisp winter day. I started to run on home not knowing exactly what to tell mom or dad.

I was on my way there when I saw something in the distance. It was tall, and it was hiding in the woods by the road. I couldn't tell what it was. Maybe it's just me being worried after what just happened. I started to run faster and faster home.

I keep looking over my shoulder thinking something is watching me. Something in the shadows waiting for me. I'm just overthinking this. It's nothing. It has to be nothing. I'm just worked up. Yeah that's all it is I'm just worked up.

I keep running and I swear I see it again. I don't know what it is, but its not good.

I turned around to see if it was still there, but it was gone. That made it worse. I didn't know where it was, or if it was following me. I kept looking over my shoulder for it, but as I turned around I tripped over a branch that fell from a storm last night.

I scraped my hand on the ground, and couldn't get up. I heard a noise behind me, something i've never heard before.

I didn't turn behind me or look
I just tried to hurry, and get up. I felt something touch my back, my heart started to race, and beat faster than ever.

I didn't know what else to do, so I turned around to see that the creature was right behind me. I screamed, but no one heard me screaming for my life.
