I woke up in the morning not thinking about anything but the weird dream I had last night. This new city and new neighborhood sure is a weird place like they say it was. Hopefully today is better then yesterday.
I got off of my bed and went to my bathroom to wash my face. Looking in the mirror. I didn't even recognized myself for some reason. Maybe because I've changed a lot in years. I mean I use to look like I was 3 but now is just. I can't bring in words, but I am growing up so that is probably why.
"Hey mom" I said
"Hey you awake listen why don't you go and hang out with Maddie today around the neighborhood"
"You sure it is a good idea for me and her to be going somewhere especially in a new neighborhood" I said. I don't think it is a very good idea especially since this neighborhood is known to be very weird and scary.
"Pfft you will be fine plus what's there to do here"
She has a point. Ok I nod yes.
I went upstairs to Maddie's room.
"Hey Maddie you wanna go----"
"Yeah yeah let's go" she said and grabbed my arm. Whoa she has a strong grip.
Next thing I see is us getting out the door. "See later mom" I said. "Ok have fun" she said. "Well now what" I asked. "Now we are gonna walk" she says. We started walking and then suddenly Maddie's phone started ringing and it was one of her bffs calling and asking how we are. I don't talk to my friends as much as she does. As we are walking and Maddie talking the whole time I see these group of people walking to our direction. The girl comes up to me. "Hey" she says and waves. "H...hey" I said shyly cause I am shy. Maybe."I am Lauren and this is my brother Johnny and our two friends Hayden and Carson" she says. "Oh umm I am kenzie and this is my sister Maddie" Maddie waves at them as she talks on the phone. "Hey" says both Carson and Hayden they seem nice. Except Johnny keeps giving me icy looks as if I owe him something. Weird. Out of nowhere this Blondish Brown girl comes up and Johnny kisses her and grabs her hand. "Hey guys" she says.who is she.
