I woke up to the sound of my alarm in my ear. I tried turning it off with my eyes closed but failed miserably. I sighed as I had to force my eyes open and turn off the stupid alarm. For a second I got excited because I didn't have school today, but then I remembered I had work. I got up and put my uniform on.
I had applied to a flower shop a few days ago and I was anxiously waiting to see if I had gotten the job. Luckily, the card came yesterday so I decided to email them and let them know I would be starting today and went to go buy my uniform.
I ran downstairs to see Jimin on the couch reading a book.
like always, there's not one moment he's not studying.
I crept up behind him, hoping to catch him by surprise, but before I could Taehyung did his signature sneeze and blew my cover. I was frozen in place when Jimin turned around, staring blankly at me.

"uhhh, Rose, are you okay?"

I put my hands behind my back and bummed an answer.
He raised a brow and closed his book.

"you weren't going to scare me were you?"

"me? Scare you? Never!"

He then quickly got off the couch and went after me.
I screwed up i screwed up I screwed up!
He was right about to catch me when he tripped on a loose plank on the floor, that's when I managed to escape.

"bye I have work! listen to Taehyung jimin!"

Before I closed the door I heard him yell out my name, I chose to ignore it and I chuckled to myself.
That was close! I really hope he forgot about it I don't want to end up like that rose that got crumbled!
I chuckled again and walked to work.
I was really happy to be working at a flower shop, Hoseok had recommended that place to me, so I visited one day and saw they needed people so I applied, and I'm glad I did. I couldn't stop smiling, I don't know why I was so happy to work at a flower shop, they were just flowers. right?
I had completely forgotten about what happened with jungkook, when I got a text message from him.

"hi! It's jungkook, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later today? Let me know! xx"

I smiled and texted him back.

"Hi! Thanks letting me know! I would love that, but I have work today and it's my first day and I don't want to miss it! But if it's around four or five I'm totally free!
xx"

He didn't respond and I wasn't really bothered by it.
I finally got to work, the thing was I got there thirty minutes early. I had the key, luckily. I picked it up yesterday when I got the letter.
I opened the shop and breathed in the aroma of every different flower.
roses
lavenders
and sunflowers giving off the strongest smell.
I turned on the light, giving the place more liveliness than it already had.
I looked around, the shop was organized based on color, but it seemed like some of them were in the wrong places.
maybe some music will help me while I organize this place.
I grabbed my phone and connected it to the speakers the small store had.
I decided to play something calming, something that reminded me of how it was before she passed.
I put on "waiting" by KIAN.
I started organizing when I noticed it was time for the shop to open. I quickly ran to the door and flipped the 'open' sign on.
After awhile, I managed to finish organizing before any customer came. I also thought it would be best to switch the music to the radio, like it was when I last came, just in case.
Instead of sitting down I started to water some of the plants and add fertilizer, the ones that were dying because of lack of sunlight, I moved closer to the window.

I heard the door open.

"welcome to LeafLet Palace! if you need anything I'm here to help!"
