“Miss, please don’t do this…I-i have a family.” The old, burly man pleaded. He was very convincing, I would’ve believed him if I didn’t notice the blackness of his eyes. I slashed him with my blade, earning me a piercing cry in return. I didn’t stop though, I knew of his evil. I knew of the truth. I let out an evil laugh, a menacing laugh. I couldn’t back down now; I couldn’t be made a fool. I gave him another slash of my blade, burning his skin.  He screamed again. I kept this up until I heard the voices of my brothers; Dean and Sam Winchester.

“Paige! Enough! Get this over with; he could be calling in back up. You need to hurry.”  Dean called, his voice ruff and harsh. I flinched, he was right. I needed to hurry. Mr. Clann smirked and that drove me off the edge. I finished him with another slash of my blade. Dean gave me a hard look, and I instantly knew I was in trouble. “What do you think you were doing? You could have gotten us killed, and all you wanted to do is play chop-chop with a demon. This is so not going to work. I told dad you couldn’t take this job; that you couldn’t make it.”

This hurt more than anything. I almost cried, until the anger hit me. “Oh and your just Mr. Perfect, aren’t you? It’s your fault dad is dead! You have no right to fight me about this! I’m trying! This is my first hunt! Gosh golly, if I’m right on your first hunt you had dad and I have no one because you refuse to help me.”

I was sure that I had steam rolling from my ears, I was that mad. I was so angered, that my words came out without running through a filter first. Dean flinched at my harsh yet true words. I could see the hurt and guilt in his eyes, until the anger took over. I could see the fire blazing, almost scorching my insides from the heat of it. He stomped closer to me, making me shrink back.

“Paige we are only trying to help your stubborn butt. I don’t want to ever see you again. I want you to pack up your stuff and leave! You have to realize you are not made for this job. " Dean yelled.

I turned around and left. Leaving behind my only family, my brothers.
