Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN THE FAIRY TAIL CHARACTERS, THE PLOT OF FAIRY TAIL, OR ANYTHING FROM FAIRY TAIL. I ONLY HAD THE IDEA.

Juvia's POV

I cursed under my breath.

Drip drip drop

I should have known the army would nearby.

Drip drop drip

I continued running as fast as my feet would take me.

Drip drip drip

I almost tripped, but I manipulated the water to steady my fall.

Drip drop drip

I had to hurry! They were closing in!

Drip dr-

The last thing I heard was a scream before I blacked out.

Gray's POV

I scowled at the sight of the girl who had been knocked out by a military squadron. Why did he have to save her again?

Because if you don't, Erza will have your butt whipped in two seconds flat. My mind whispered to me.

I shivered at the thought. Erza is scary.

"H-hey! You there!"

I turned my attention the the military squad who happened to be staring at m was if I was an alien.

"Let us take the girl, and you might get out of this unharmed!"

The leader of the group seemed annoyed that I wasn't doing anything.

"Hey! Are you deaf or something?"

I continued to not speak, walking closer to the soldiers. Their leader looked uneasy, and whispered something to his group.

"ATTACK!"

The soldiers charged in my direction, and thrusr their weapons at me. I jumped back, landing next to the girl and out of their range. I noticed a couple archers in the back.

"Ice Make Lance!"

I shot a lance at the first archer before his arrow could be loosened.  It pierced his undershirt, making the archer fall back. This, however, gave the second archer a chance to let her arrow fly. I side-stepped and summoned an ice sword to block one of the spears being jabbed towards me. I jumped back again, and dragged the girl with me. I created an ice shied to block more of the jabs.

I closed my eyes for a second. I had orders to get the girl, and get out. I wasn't supposed to fight. With a groan, I looked to see that reinforcements were coming.

I looked down at the girl, prepared to drag her away. My eyes met midnight blue orbs.

I took a step back.

"W-what the...?"

The girl's whole body was surrounded by rainwater. The water supported her, raising her in the air.

I looked on, dumbfounded. She... She was a water mage?

The rain-lady glared at the military soldiers with a look scary enough to freak out Natsu.

Her oddly sweet voice sounded.

"Juvia has had enough. She didn't want to have to do this, but Juvia will get her revenge."

I watched as the rainwater puddlea that had slowly collected at the squad's feet gushed up, splashing the soldiers.

"Witchcraft!" "There's two of 'em!" "What are you waiting for? ATTACK YOU BAKAS!"

Water-girl (who was really starting to give me the creeps...) sent another geyser of water towards the soldiers.

"AGHHH!" "IT'S BURNING!!!" "HELP! GET BACKUP!"

The water seemed to be boiling their skin, making them writhe in pain. The girl (whom I assume is Juvia) left the soldiers there and began to walk away from the crime scene.

It took me a couple seconds to catch up.

"Stop!"

Juvia just stared at me for a second, before she raised her hand and mumbled something.

"Water Lock."

Rainwater began surrounding me, making it hard to breathe. Soon, water was all around me in a sphere shape. I closed my eyes, and began freezing the water.

Ice surrounded me. It reminded me of when Ul... no. I can't think of these things now.

The ice around me shattered, dropping me to the ground.

I glared at her.

"What was that for? I saved you!"

Juvia glared back. She seemed conflicted.

"I didn't need your help, but thank you. Anyway, if you'll excuse me."

She tried to push past him, but he grabbed her shoulder. Her shoulder became water.

I felt my eyes widen. I quickly took my hand away.

What in the world?

"Juvia's body is made of water. Sometimes, when people attack Juvia, that happens. Leave." Her voice was cold.

I frowned. She would be a tough opponent.

She began surrounding herself with water, probably to blast it at me.

All he had to do was bring her with him.

I didn't want to have to fight her, but if I had to...

An idea suddenly popped into my head.

"Sorry, Juvia."

"What do you mea-?"

I raised my hands.

"Freeze!"

Her eyes widened as the water surrounding her body froze. Hopefully she wouldn't be able to get out. Picking up the frozen female, I began the journey home.
