I rolled over in my bed, sun shining through the window, hitting me in the face, waking me up. I groaned, taking my pillow and covering my face.

"Rachael, you don't wanna be late for class!" My best friend, Sam, yelled through the door. I groaned again and got out of bed. I walked to my cream colored bathroom and slipped my clothes off. I got into the hot shower, washing my hair before moving to my body.

After the shower, I wrapped a towel around my body and my hair. I lived in a two bedroom apartment with my best friend. My room was always a mess with clothes everywhere and the bed was never made. My walls a pretty sky blue with a couple posters of my favorite bands, along with pictures of me and my friends. I had a vanity where I kept all of my makeup along with a desk on the other side of my room under my window, where I sometimes did my homework.

My closet was a walk-in and filled with clothes. Some hanging up and half laying on the floor. I picked up some sweats and a t-shirt before sliding on sneakers and walking back to the bathroom. I brushed my blonde hair and my teeth before grabbing my bag that had my laptop, books, and phone charger in it.

"Rachael you're gonna be late!" Sam called through the door again. I rolled my eyes, opening the door.

"I'm here." I said, grabbing my car keys.

"You look like shit." She said.

"Thank you." I replied, walking out of my apartment. My phone dinged in my pocket but I ignored it.

Walking into my college and to the classroom, I noticed my best guy friend waiting for me outside of the room.

"I thought you weren't going to make it." Christian pointed out.

"And I thought you were straight, but I guess we were both wrong." I replied, eyeing his outfit. His black hair curved up in waves, his pink button up shirt with white shorts just screaming "someone fuck me in the ass, preferably a dude." His blue eyes glaring at me from next to me.

"Says the one who flirts with every girl and guy when you're drunk."

"Hey, I don't drink. I'm a child of god." I replied. You could feel him rolling his eyes at me.

"Good morning." Professor Clarke greeted, walking into the room. Me and Christian took our seat next to each other as our other friend, Paisley sat next to me.

"Did I miss anything?" She whispered. I shook my head.

"You're good. He just walked in." I replied. She took her laptop out, as did I and Christian, before pulling her phone out. Ah, teenagers and their cell phones.

After our classes, we all walked out and to our cars.

"Are you guys doing anything this weekend?" I asked them. They both nodded. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you two doing without me?" I asked.

"It's your 21st birthday this weekend, did you forget?" Paisley asked.

"No. I was just asking because I wanted to see if you two wanted to come over and have a movie night or something." I said. They looked at each other.

"We have other plans for you, but you'll find out Friday night." Christian said.

"Hey this isn't fair, I thought we said no secrets." I pointed out. They both walked away. Bitches.

I got home and saw Sam asleep on the couch. Rude. I closed the door and threw my keys on the island sitting in the middle of the kitchen. The tv was on playing spongebob. I rolled my eyes and jumped on her.

"Um ow!" She yelled.

"Do you know anything about Christian and Paisley's plans this weekend for my birthday?" I asked her.

"What? No. Why would I?" She asked.

"I don't know I figured since you're my best friend they would consult you first."

"They didn't say anything to me." I groaned, throwing my book bag into my room and laying back down on Sam, watching spongebob.
