Birthday Suprise

A/N: In honor of one of my best friends birthday being this month, as well as Becky, I figured that a special birthday chapter is fitting. Also, happy new year!

Becky trudged backstage with her title in hand after her match, smiling at superstars as she walked by. "Bex!" Becky turned her head to see two of her best friends, she smiled and began to walk over to them. "Hey Char, Aj." Becky said with a grin. "Great job tonight," Aj said fist bumping her then giving her a big hug, while Charlotte nodded in agreement. "Thanks guys," Becky replied still smiling. "I guess it's a good birthday gift huh?" Charlotte said nudging Becky. Becky nodded in response. The three began to walk around backstage and then ran into Rusev and Lana.

"Hey y'all," Aj said to the two. Rusev shook Aj's hand. "Hey guys how's it going? Good job out there by the way," Rusev said nodding towards Becky. She smiled and him, "Thanks," she said. Rusev smiled, "I also heard it's a very special day today." He said chuckling. Lana rolled her eyes, "You better be talking about Becky's birthday and not what I think you are thinking of," she said.

"Of course I was talking about her birthday, but now that you mention it." Rusev said smirking, "Happy Rusev Day!" he yelled while laughing. Lana rolled her eyes amused. "I'm kidding, happy birthday Becky," he said giving her a bear hug. "Thanks you two," Becky replied. The five of them began to walk around, while Charlotte noticed Becky's increasing mood. "Bex, what's wrong?" she asked. Becky sighed looking towards the floor, "It's just- I really wish that Dean was here. It's hard enough we are on different brands but it's my birthday and it's hard when he's not here for that." Charlotte frowned at her, "Aw Becky, I'm sorry. I know it's hard for you." she said. Becky nodded, "Yeah, but he's just doing his job," she said with another sigh.

The group once again began their walk around the venue, and Becky couldn't help but notice that Charlotte kept checking her phone. "Char, you have a date or something?" Becky asked. Charlotte looked up from her phone confusedly, "Huh? Oh, no it's nothing." she replied turning her phone off and putting it in her pocket. Becky narrowed her eyes at her, "Ok... if you say so." Charlotte nodded at her with a grin, "Yep, I do say so." Becky gave her a strange look, suspicious of her strange behavior.

Aj looked at Becky, "So uh- did Dean talk to you today?" Becky's eyes dropped to the ground at the mention of boyfriend. "Uh, yeah he called me this morning. He said we would do something for my birthday the next time we see each other," she replied sadly. "Well, that's something isn't it?" Lana said joining the conversation. "Yeah I guess," Becky said.

A few minutes later Becky piped up, "How about we go to catering, I'm tired of moping around." Charlotte's eyes widened, "Uh, yeah sure let's go to catering," she stuttered out. Becky shook her head, "What is up with you?" she said under her breath. Charlotte took her phone out, and smiled at the screen. " You know what? Yeah! Let's go to catering! I don't know what you're waiting for Becky," Charlotte said. She began to walk quickly ahead of everyone else. Becky turned to the group, "Do you guys know what's going on with her?" The three shrugged, "I'm not sure but let's just catch up before she does anything else weird," Rusev said. Becky nodded and the three made their way to catering.

They all got to the doors of catering, and it didn't go unnoticed by Becky when Charlotte strangely knocked on the door causing the noise inside the room to die down. Becky moved past Charlotte and opened the doors to the room. "SURPRISE!" Becky's eyes widened at the sight of all the superstars in the room. Then, she watched as superstars moved out of the way to reveal Dean himself, wearing a cheesy birthday hat. He smiled at her, "Happy Birthday, love" he said. Becky didn't say anything but ran to him. She jumped and wrapped her legs around him as he picked her up. "You're here," she whispered into his ear. He grinned, "Indeed I am." Becky cupped Dean's face and gave him a long, and slow kiss. "I love you," she said. Dean ran his thumb over her cheek, "I love you too, Bex."

Becky was cuddled into Dean's side at the table, surrounded by superstars.  "Char, you really need to work on not acting so strange when it comes to surprises." she said. Charlotte laughed, "What can I say Bex? It was an exciting surprise, how could I not act weird?" Becky laughed along with her and looked around, then looked into the eyes of her love and she knew. In that moment, there was nowhere else she wanted to be.
