It's New Year's Eve. Everyone's downstairs celebrating while I'm just here laying in my bed writing in this stupid book they call "Diary". As if I'm going to actually read this when I'm older. I'm planning to burn this in a few years since it's filled with a bunch if embarrassing facts about me.... I'm not taking any chances. You know, sometimes I wonder... What will the future be like? Will life get any better? I'm just a 15 year old girl crying on her bed all the time. Now look at me, I'm talking to myself. My family is not exactly a family... Which is why I'm always in my room with the door shut to keep the yelling from getting in. I have three older brothers. Leo, who's 16 years old. Joey, 18 and Steve who's 21 years old but everyone calls him Stevey. He moved out in September though. Meanwhile I have one younger sister, Chloe. She's 12 years old. Leo is the most annoyingest brother in the world. I know that's not a word but I don't really care. I can write whatever I want in here. Leo's always putting his nose in my business and shooting me with a Nerf gun. I know right? So immature for a 16 year old. Chloe is always trying to be me. If I go to school with nail polish, she asks what colour I used and takes it from my nail polish bin. I get that she's still young, but she needs to stop trying to be like others because an original is always better than a copy. Oh and speaking of school, all my teachers hate my guts, like how mom and dad, hate each other. I never knew why teachers would make me fail almost all my tests. Every time I raise my hand, Mrs. Blondger would give me this look, and choose someone else. And my parents? They haven't divorced, but they fight all the time. No matter what place and what time, they're fighting. I hate my life.
