"You're not a very welcoming server."
"If I could, you'd be kicked out by now, but I'm not allowed to, so what will be your order for today?" Jihoon replies with a bright smile adorned on his face. Jihoon jots down small notes upon a thin piece of paper after Woojin rolls his eyes, mumbling his order.
"Kay! We'll be back with you soon, please be patient." Jihoon says with an overly cheerful voice.
Jihoon walks away from the table, dropping the note that included Woojin's order down onto the chef's counter as he headed towards the machinery, mixing up a quick coffee. Jihoon was about to walk back before a voice causes him to freeze for a moment.
"Jihoon! Look, I know you probably don't want to talk but-"
In that moment, Jihoon almost sprinted back to Woojin's table, wanting to slam the coffee down before rushing into the back doors. But the man he was trying to avoid was right behind him. Jihoon doesn't even know how he got through Haechan, but he guesses the underestimated the other.
After his slight pause he finds him speed-waking towards Woojin's table, making a sharp turn as he gently (as gently as he could in his position) places down his coffee.
"What's up with you?" Woojin asks, seeing the obvious distress upon Jihoon's face.
Jihoon doesn't make to effort to even try to respond, doing his best to move away faster. But he's also a tad too late though as he feels warm fingers wrap around his wrist.
"Jihoon, can we talk? I haven't seen you since we-"
In the moment of panic, Jihoon jerks his wrist away from the man, wrapping them around the unwilling victim in front of him.
"Woojin! Did you wait long? I hope not. Did you miss me?" Jihoon quickly blurts out, burying his face into Woojin's shoulder. He could feel his face heating up. Jihoon can't see Woojin's face right now, but he assumes that it's most likely one of disgust or confusion. The last thing he expected was for Woojin to play along.
"You're clinger than usual today."
The words are extremely loud within Jihoon's ear. He could hear Woojin's breath hit his ears which add a whole series of tingles coursing through his body. The worst part, however, is when Woojin brings his arms around him, pulling him down closer to the point where Jihoon is awkwardly crouching over him. Woojin places one of his hands over Jihoon's head, softly pushing his head closer towards his chest and in all honesty, it's way too intimate for Jihoon and he really doesn't know how to feel in that moment.
"Y-yeah... I guessed I just missed you..." Jihoon mumbles out.
"Am I... Am I interrupting anything right now?"
Jihoon pulls his head away from Woojin, wanting to get away from that warmth as quick as possible.
"Ah! Daniel-hyung! I haven't seen you in so long. How are you?" Jihoon asks.
Daniel brightens up immediately.
"I've been really good actually! Also, I've been trying to get your attention the entire time I was here! Did you not hear me call your name?" Daniel pouts.
"Oh. I really didn't... I'm sorry?"
"Oh no! It's okay, I understand. We should really catch up again Jihoon!"
"Y-Yeah, we should..." Jihoon mutters through his teeth as he glances away from Daniel. Daniel tilts his head to the side, a small soft smile still adorned on his face.
"Who's he?" Woojin asks, Jihoon swings his head around to stare at Woojin with a look that probably screams panic because- what the hell, Woojin!? Can't Woojin tell that he really doesn't want to keep this conversation going? Ugh. Jihoon hates when boys can't read his mind.
