Yoongi woke to a dim light piercing through his closed curtains. His phone buzzed beneath his pillow as he stretched his legs over the side of his bed to sit up properly.

Jeon_Jungkookie
Are we all set for today?

Min_Yoongi
Yeah. Can you make it here around 9?

Jeon_Jungkookie
Sounds great! See you later 😁😁😁

He looked over at the time, dreading the day that was about to come over him. Sure, he regularly hosted bands and artists but today, Yoongi was just drained. He was almost ready to have someone take his shift for the day, which is rare, considering that he loves his job (as much as he complains about it). He quickly got ready for the day and walked downstairs to set up.

The sky was still a pale grey and looking at the amount of fog clouding the street, it had probably rained the night before. Yoongi began cleaning and refilling the coffee machines when he glanced over to the window beside him.

Kim Namjoon ran a bookstore on the opposite side of the road. It was a comfortable place and he was a nice guy. Yoongi even found himself taking over a cup of coffee some mornings and staying for a friendly chat amongst neighbors. He would sometimes go on his days off to look at the new collections of books that arrived since he'd last been there.

Yoongi continued preparing his machines, awaiting his staff for the morning to arrive. He then made himself a quick espresso, hopefully strong enough to wake him up. He began turning over chairs and sweeping up from the previous day. Being an extremely organized person had its perks: his shop had a high sanitation rating, materials were easily accessible, and not much work had to be done in the way of cleaning up.

Seeing as he still had plenty of time before Jungkook would arrive, he made a cappuccino to take over to Namjoon. When he stepped outside, the fog was thicker than he thought. What was stranger though, was the moving truck outside of the building. It was weird to see that space with anything outside of it this early in the morning. It had been empty since he moved in. He continued toward the bookstore, still curious about his new neighbor.

"Hey, Hyung! Haven't seen you in a while," Namjoon smiled.

"Yeah. It's been really busy for the past week. I've barely had time to do anything," Yoongi replied, handing over the warm cup. "Here. You've probably been busy too."

"Thanks," Namjoon sipped on his drink, noticing a certain hesitancy on the olders' face. "You look like you have something to say. "

"Did someone finally buy the area next to me?" Yoongi looked back and forth between Namjoon and the truck a few times. It was almost suspicious that no one ever bought that building. Business was always good and people around were friendly enough, but now that there was a chance of that happening, it was a few steps away from scary.

"Maybe, but I can't be sure. Taehyung said he saw someone looking at the space a couple weeks ago but the guy didn't seem very interested. Maybe he had a change of heart."

"I think the realtor got desperate. After a while, it's gotta get tiring never selling the place." Yoongi focused on the younger sitting behind the counter. "You don't open 'til 10 today, right?"

"I always open at 10," Namjoon remarked as he rolled his eyes. You'd think that after living next to each other for 3 years, they would at least know what time each other's stores open.

Yoongi scoffed at the others' sarcasm. "Whatever. How's Jin-Hyung?

"He's good. He's been talking a lot about weddings recently though."

Yoongi snorted at the comment, "You need to put a ring on it already."

"Did I ask for your advice?"

Yoongi shot him a look that would be considered threatening if Namjoon wasn't basically a whole-ass foot taller than him, "No. But you very obviously need it and I'm giving it to you. If you don't propose to him already, I will."

"Are you gay now, Hyung?" Namjoon laughed.

"Bitches could only wish," Yoongi responded while flipping his non-existent hair extensions.

Namjoon scoffed at the remark, returning his gaze to the mountain of books stacked on the floor.
