My mom always told me I was special, a teenage girl who hears things that no one else can, sees things that aren't there. Yup, perfectly normal.

I was sitting in third period at the back of the class as normal. The teacher was going on about the starvations levels and struggles of the early settlers of the stone age. I was fiddling with my pencil and drawing silly little pictures in my notebook as if I wanted to be anywhere but here, and the truth was anywhere would be a better place for me then sitting I'm this little classroom listening to the teacher go on about nothing.

On my way home I stopped at Missy's flower madhouse, and looked in the windows at the beautiful white roses placed in a gorgeous baby blue crystal vase. The roses were bold, and delicate. They are my favorite kind of flower. My mother wouldn't be home when I got there so I took my time on the way. When I got there I did my homework, and started my chores. My mother came home about 9'oclock and by then I was fast asleep. She always worked long, late hours, and always came home late. But she made our living off it.

My brother was on his way to collage by now and I was just finishing up my senior year in highschool. I don't plan to go to collage anyway. At least not yet. My grandfather has been out of work for a few years now, and isn't in very good shape. My grandmother has to work simple jobs to help support the family. I want to stay by them for a while to help them as well. Maybe I'll do collage online for a year or two, just to be sure they'll be alright.

I've always wanted to go to MSU but I guess that will have to wait. Too much going around to think about leaving any time soon.

The next morning I got up, and headed to school. It felt like a normal day. Get up, go to school, be bored out of my mind, go home, chores, homework, bed, then restart. What a life, huh?

Well, the day started off alright, normal boring classes, and people that I never have time for. Too much drama, gossip, crushes, and girly time. After a while though things started getting weird. I was silently reading my book in my normal corner table of the library when I just stared hearing a strange voice calling out to me.

It was a lite voice, female. There was a hint of worry in her tone but when ever I looked around there was no one there. I just went back to my book. I must be going crazy. After school I still felt a little funny, like someone was watching me. I stopped off at a local dinner, and got a small diet drink. After a while I set off again, went home, and begun my normal routine. My chores list wasn't as bad tonight because tomorrow was Friday and my mother will be home all weekend.

School was normal the next day, except I still felt like I was being watched. I mean I know that is an expected feeling of a teenage girl, just figuring out her own body. But I still had this feeling like someone was following me around, watching my every move.

I stayed in the library a little while after school was over to finish some homework, and my last two or three chapters of my book. I was just about finished when I heard a voice.

"Hello, I'm Trinity. You must be Bri." An almost see through girl smiled at me
