When there was still good

Her jump wasn't that good, if she makes a landing in the water with that jump she might loose control..but it didn't matter to her, she wasn't scared at all. She knew she had Dina, she was at ease and as expected, Dina had made a jump with her and pushed her right away from the water  to where Manor had dropped the safety foam.
" Are you insane or were you trying to hurt yourself " Dina said in rage trying to check if Laurie was alright." I always told you to be careful, just imagine if..."
" Dina! M ok, you don't need to worry"
" Why won't I worry? Imagine if something had happened to you"
" When you're always there for me, what will I worry about" she said poking Dina's nose and laughing.
" So you think it's funny" she removes Laurie's hand in anger. " Nothing is ever serious to you"
" Don't get upset Dina " Laurie still laughing said..it was fun to make a joke like that to Dina . She liked when Dina was upset about her safety, it reminded her about how much she cared for her.
Dina was everything to her, she was her sister, her cousin , her best friend, her diary, her happiness... . She couldn't have imagined how she would have survived is Dina and her family weren't there for her, she had lived with them about 20 years ever since her parents died in an accident. They cared for her like she was their own, they even moved to Germany with her ten years ago . Dina and Laurie grew up together, had everything equally, well except Manor.
Manor was Laurie's fiancee, well boyfriend for now although we all see it going towards that direction, there were like a fairytale book. I guess they were just perfect. He was the only possession that the two girls couldn't share. Talking about perfection...
" Babe, are you okay. You should not have done that, it was too risky" he said cleaning her with a warm towel
" Not you too..." She rolled her eyes
" What do you expect from someone who thinks about only you, your pain is my pain ( pecks her) you should always keep that in mind". " Well c'mon, we have to appease the upset Queen" he pulls her up from the foam.
Laurie smiles at him, " you are right, or else we might not rest today"
   They walked towards Dina who was drinking a cup of apple juice, Manor makes some funny jokes toward her and she begins to laugh historically. Laurie kept  smiling at him, he was the love of her life she could not do anything without him.

he remembered when the first met at the perkinston park when they were very young, he was a young boy like her in a foreign land where they could not speak the language or understand it either. The three of them were the first black or should I say african students in their school. Manor actually, was born in Germany, so he was used to it being born by a German father and a Nigerian mother. Manor was always there for her when she felt lonely or missed her parents, there were some things she couldn't tell Dina about so she wouldn't hurt her feelings. The little things that she told him suddenly brought about emotions they couldn't control.
" Hey dreamer! He's here so you don't need to think about him again" Dina said teasing Laurie who laughed and tried to tease her back. " You don't know  how much am going to miss you when you leave for the training in the United States, nothing will be the same without you😪"
" I know doll face, but what can I do? It's the only way I can get that certificate I need. It's important to have it in other to secure dad's company."
Sigh, " then just leave it, it's just a stupid certificate. My father is already successful, he doesn't need to be secured"
" Dina! What are you saying" Manor interrupts " that certificate is very important and it's a good thing Laurie is helping Mr Stephen get it". Turns to Laurie" just make sure you call me everyday or else my heart won't beat well again ❤️❤️"
" Yes Mr heart beat" Dina comments " your life cycle won't rest either, she would dream and dream about you so u need not to worry. I should be worried about if there would be space for me to also be loved"
" was für ein Unsinn!!( What nonsense!!) You two are my world! My best friend and my heart" she hugs them. " I love you both so much"...
