UNEXPECTED

OK.... forgive forget

"Maaaaaaat" What in the Jupiter is that?!! 

"Oh... Khm....Well, Hey sis...  How was your day?"

 Silence filled the room for good five minutes and no one knew what to do in this situation, because frankly none of them knew this was going to happen. Maya did not even blink, she slowly sat down and tried to erase the image of her brother kissing her professor. 

"How long is this going on, now it is just gonna look like you gave me good grades because you are dating my brother. I mean I am not surprised I am just shocked." Maya said with a low voice. "I can explain." Dono tried to talk. 

"Can you? I mean there is nothing to explain here It is crystal clear that you guys tried to hide this from me... but why?" 

"We were not sure how you would react. I mean as you said he is your professor and I am your brother and we taught you would not support us and freak out ." Mat said with a shaky voice. After that Maya looked down and went to the kitchen 

"So Dono, do you want to stay for dinner?" was all she said as she walked away. 

All she could think about was how they could think she would not be happy about them being together, she had a hunch about them but they never said anything, that is why she never asked, but this... her brother being afraid to share such a big part of his life from her, it was unexpected especially because they were always close. Before she could even blink the pizza was done and she placed it on the table. At that moment the bell rang and she went to open the door. 

"Hey Maya can I come in?" "As long as you did not bring Leo with you and you try to be polite I guess you can. Besides I made way too much pizza for three people." Maya tried to talk with a normal voice. 

"Three people?" Lay said in confusion. He entered the house and made his way to the kitchen, he knew this house top to bottom since he was always here as a kid.

 "I actually came here to apologize for everything that happened in the past. I do understand if you are not ready to forgive me, because I would not forgive me for what I put you through. I just....I just wanted you to be the first to hear that I Lay Raven will try to change to not be a douchebag anymore." Lay took a big breath after and waited for Maya to respond. 

"Sit down everyone, we have a lot to talk about this evening." Maya said while slicing the pizza and since she had a knife in her hand they did as they were told. 

Everybody exchanged looks as they ate the dinner and the atmosphere was very awkward at this point.

 "OK...You guys are allowed to speak you know. I am not mad at any of you I just have to process some information since a lot happened today. From you two hiding something from me to you suddenly being nice to me again I just do not know what to do with this information, that is all." Maya changed the atmosphere. 

Everybody tried to fake smile at each other to see if was for real...she was they could not understand her calm reaction since she is usually full of sarcasm and never talks with a low tone.

>TIME SKIP<

Two weeks have passed since that day and Lay kept his word he was getting back to his old self and he made some new friend that were actually his old friends and now the are friends again...you know what I mean (forgive forget). Maya still stayed slightly distant from him to see if he was sincere or not. Mat and Dono made their relationship status public and got mixed reactions from people they knew. Every time someone talked smack about them Maya would hear about it and confront those who tried to make them feel small. Maya had a motto "If it does not effect you who are you to tell others how to live" But this did effect her, If you come after her friends and family do not expect her to be nice to you. Something like, treat people how they treat you and if you have nothing nice to say, stay silent. There is enough hate in this world already. 

School was over and Maya got accepted to good college since she had good grades and she aced her finals. She choose to study microbiology since she loved to experiment and work in the lab. The exciting news about her being accepted came today and she was in a good mood. She even applied  for a summer job as an English teacher in Slovenia since she knew Slovene and English. Her family comes from Slovenia and she and Mat went there when they were little with their Mother. She even invited Lisa (her best friend) to come with her.

The news on the block was Lay had the same idea, he knew Slovene since Maya taught him the language when they were kids. What are the odds of them having the same idea for the summer job. And if that was not enough he got into the same college as her meaning they would both study microbiology together. Maya was still distant with him and tried not to think about it too much.

Dono and Mat  decided to spend time in Slovenia too, but they would go there on vacation not to work. Somehow even Leo is going there to do God knows what. To sum it up they are all going to the same country and same town for two months.

This will be fun... right...RIGHT?!
