I could see my gold eyes reflect in the shining dark blue crystal. It spun softly around in the air as I held the gold chain in my pale hand. The wind was softly blowing through the bedroom and made all the charms, dream catchers, plants and antique valuables create a soft music. I wasn't sure why this room was filled with so much colorful and unique treasures but it gave it some kind of life. The blue crystal dropped down on the dark red bedcover letting the soft velvet crinkle at the spot. A sigh left my lips as I swung my legs off of the bed and felt the cold wood under my feet.
My eyes met a giant dragon head on the wall, not a real one, at least that is what I was thinking. It had a gold nose and red fur with white details. To me it looked like a Japanese Dragon, it was really pretty. It's eyes were made out of Emeralds, that had a living feeling to it.
I passed the shelf with a messy amount of old books stacked up on each other like they tried to reach the sky. A little layer of dust and weird ornaments were having their place there. The books were written in so many different languages and symbols that it was just interesting looking at them.
I made my way out of the bedroom and walked down the hallway. The windows were nailed down with boards. From the nails that were sticking out from the boards hang little charms. Some looked like voodoo dolls, crystals, or weirdly shaped figures made out of gold.
I could see the moonlight coming through the gaps of the boards and lighten up the frames from the other wall. The frames were filled with drawings of any kind, seas, landscapes and people. They are all signed under the name Amalia Marlee Gray. My name. I couldn't remember drawing them, but the places gave off a familiar sensation in my brain. Was this world outside this walls just like the drawings? I would probably never find out because all I ever saw where the woods surrounding this house.
One of the drawings had a man in them. His hair was raven black and his eyes were a bright ocean blue. He wore a white shirt and around his neck was a necklace with a red stone, which seemed to be a ruby. He looked like a magician to me with his earrings and charming smile. This picture felt weirdly familiar and calming to me, like it could speak to me, like this person was real.
I took a step back from the painting and stroke some red hair behind my ears. As beautiful as this place was, seeing it for over a hundred years made it look depressed. Not as depressing as the fact that I can't leave this place. My eyes fell to the giant door at the end of the hallway. Everytime I left this place I end up in the house again. I thought I would go insane one day because of that.
I accepted that there was no way out of here and the only reason I was still staying here alive was this little note. It included three names 'Keaton, Kai, Raven' along with the words 'you need to remember.'
I never really heard those names, but to be honest I never really interacted with anyone here in this house. I was alone here. I guess I just forgot.
I heard something shatter nearby and winced at the sound. A flame was rising from my hand as I made my way towards the noise. The flame flickered as I moved towards the living room. I pushed my bare hand against the wooden door. As I opened the door, the door creaked. The sound echoed through the hallway.
At the window stood a figure covered in a black cloak. The moonlight was shining past it down on the broken boards. My fire was lighting up my face as my golden eyes scanned the person leaning against the window frame. The person made a light bow towards me, revealing some dark brown hair and shining green eyes."Amalia Gray, I came to rescue you in the name of Lucifer."
